She didn’t ask for much. She was found standing in the middle of a lonely country road, refusing to leave the side of her injured puppy. Both were painfully thin, exhausted, and starving. They had nowhere to go, no one looking for them, and yet she stayed—protecting her baby. The puppy is now safe, but this sweet mama is still waiting for someone to choose her. Our local shelter is full, and she desperately needs a forever home. After everything she’s been through, she deserves more than survival. She deserves a soft bed, a full belly, and someone who will never let her wonder if she’s loved again. If you can open your heart and your home to this incredible girl, please reach out. Let’s make sure the hardest chapter of her story isn’t the last one. ❤️

I have a 5-6 year old pit mix who has recently shown signs of anxiety. I can not handle it and it’s only getting worse. He is friendly with kids but has been really nervous around them and it’s starting to worry me. I have two young kids in my home and I can not give him the proper help that he needs. He is unaltered and will need his shots updated. I have tried the kennel as well and he will rip through it to get out. He has knocked his tooth out and bloodied his mouth/face multiple times. I can’t keep him safe and with how bad his anxiety is getting. Diesel has always been a very friendly dog and has been good with kids, other dogs, and cats. He does try and play with cats and does get a little rough because of how big he is.

Diesel is approximately 5-6 year old. He is a pit mix who has recently shown signs of anxiety, mostly when it rains and storms. I can not handle it and it’s only getting worse. He is friendly with kids but has been really nervous around them lately and it’s starting to worry me. I have two young kids in my home and I can not give him the proper help that he needs. He is unaltered and will need his shots updated. I have tried the kennel as well and he will rip through it to get out. He has knocked his tooth out and bloodied his mouth/face multiple times. I can’t keep him safe and with how bad his anxiety is getting I’m worried about my kids and my other dogs as well. Diesel has absolutely never been mean in anyway towards kids, adults, dogs or cats! He does like to try and play with cats and can be a little rough as he is a lot bigger than a cat. Trying to find him a safe home that can accommodate with his anxiety.

My father has stage 4 metastatic melanoma and is no longer able to care for Spot. I am desperately trying to find him a good home where he can play and enjoy life. Spot is about 4 years old, neutered, and is up to date on his shots. He’s a mix breed, good with kids and other dogs. He loves to play, go for walks, run around. I don’t know how he is with cats. He uses a doggie door so I don’t know how he will do in someone else’s home. He is sometimes scared of new people and things, but it doesn’t take him long to warm up to people and once he does you are his best friend.

I acquired my pet in Cape Girardeau, she is 5 years old. She is very friendly, hyper, energetic, clingy, supportive, loyal. She loves outside and playing. Kind of give battle dog with how she operate because she is mixed with a blue heeler. She is not aggressive at all and loves to play. I want to send her somewhere that she is loved correctly and will receive the amount of energy she needs from an owner.
