Story
Baxter is roughly 7 years old. We adopted him from the humane society when he was pretty young. He had been found roaming the streets. Baxter does well with kids and other non-dominant dogs, but he really does not like cats. He is a silly, fun loving dog, who loves zoomies followed by long snuggles on a comfy bed. He’s house and kennel trained. He needs a strong hand, as he is a stout strong boy. We love him dearly, but also love our cat. We are also moving into a new neighborhood with cat neighbors and want to keep the neighborhood cats safe. It’s been a long, sad decision to make, as he has been a good buddy to our kids.

Story
We got Sophia as a puppy from a local rescue. She is officially no longer a puppy, but definitely has that puppy energy. Shes about a year and half old (her birthday is August 20th, 2024). She’s a really good pup, she tries to listen well, however sometimes she will get overly excited and despite the big ears, she goes deaf from the excitement. She still gets the zoomies on a very regular basis, so a big fenced in yard would be excellent for her. She gets along great with our 8 year old. She’s very protective of her and has to be near her 24/7 whenever she’s home. She does okay with our cat, only issues she has is that she tries to play with the cat, forgetting the major size difference and we have to break them up quite often. She is good in a kennel overnight! You will need to keep windows rolled up in car rides, she likes to eat the nom noms (passing cars) and she will have you thinking she’s going to jump out of the car just to get the nom noms. She really is a great and sweet dog!
