We got Dexter from The SPCA in November of 2024. We have him in a kennel to sleep, or if we leave the house. You would receive his kennel for free. He just turned two December 15th. He is a great guard dog.

Story
Zeke was adopted in March of 2020 from the Reno Humane Society. He was 3 months old at the time. He is neutered and microchipped. He grew up under my desk while I worked from home. He is very attached to his family. Zeke loves his walks, laying in the sun, and getting scratches. Outside of the house he is very well behaved but he can be protective of his home which can result in some barking at guests or Amazon deliveries. He would love a home with a family that is active and will let him sit on the couch and watch TV with them. He can be anxious and currently takes prozac to help with that. A home what will love him, take him on walks, and let him lay in sun spots is all he needs to be happy. He is deserving of a great home.

Was my father’s dog before he passed away. She was born last year (2025), and pretty much has a twin brother. She’s friendly to humans, but gets nervous during random, big actions. She isn’t used to being indoors nor is she trained to be indoors.

Story
Honey is about 18 months old (exact birthdate unknown), 48 lbs and has been with us for nearly six months as a rescue. She is a great dog, extremely playful and intelligent and gets along wonderfully with all dogs big and small. She loves kids, the dog park, wrestling, chasing, tug-o-war, teasing and being teased. Despite many modifications, we have been unable to contain Honey in our yard ever since she officially settled in, and it has made it difficult for our busy family and for our older dog who is a good boy and always stays home. Our home and neighborhood is surrounded by woods and wildlife, and Honey cannot help herself. She needs a home and family who is active and can give her the physical activity she needs, but she also needs a home with a fence at least six feet tall. Honey also has lost an eye to glaucoma. It has not slowed her down a bit. She is a great dog who just needs a home that can match and contain her energy. She’ll come with any toys and tools needed.

King is a big teddy bear who truly believes he’s a lap dog. He loves snuggling, being close to his people, and soaking up all the affection he can get. He’s sweet, loyal, and bonds deeply with his family. King does need help with his reactivity toward other dogs, so he’ll thrive with someone willing to continue his training. He’s smart and eager to please he just needs guidance and consistency. King is bonded with his brother Kobe, and keeping them together would be ideal. If you want a loving, affectionate companion who gives the best cuddles, King is your guy.

Story
Mowgli is a sweetheart around people - he loves to cuddle, to be pet, and long walks and frisbee. He is very possessive of his food and needs to be in a home without kids or dogs. He is big and strong, loves giving big kisses and has the biggest jumps to catch his frisbee flying through the air! He can be triggered during walks by other dogs so he needs to have a sturdy harness (we can provide) and a strong owner who can walk him across the street. He loves his food and treats and especially loves chewing on his bones. Being outside is Mowgli’s favorite and he’ll hang out there until he wants to drink water and hide in the shade. We love our buddy so much, but due to his difficulty with his sister and our new baby we want to find a home more suited for his needs.
