Dasie (about 6 years old) is a gentle, affectionate lab mistress with a heart of gold. She gets along great with other dogs, cats, and kids of all ages. Truly a people and animal lover through and through. Her one quirk? Sprinklers. Over the past few years she's developed a serious wariness of them. Not just when they're running, but if she even suspects they've been on. Damp grass, a wet sidewalk, the wrong time of day. She'd rather wait inside than risk it. Winter she's out the door without hesitation. One small boundary, endless love!

Koa is a 3-year-old rescue with the sweetest heart. He came to us from a difficult past, and while we believe he may have experienced some abuse before, he has made so much progress and continues to show how loving and loyal he truly is. He can be a little wary around men at first, but with patience and kindness, he warms up and forms incredibly strong bonds. Koa is still young, playful, and full of energy. He thrives in a calm, understanding environment where he feels safe and secure. Once he trusts you, he is affectionate, devoted, and truly becomes your best friend. He has so much love to give and deserves a home where he can continue to grow and feel protected. I’m looking for a patient, loving home that will give Koa the time, care, commitment and compassion he deserves

Story
Honey is about 18 months old, 48 lbs and has been with us for nearly six months as a rescue. She is a great dog, extremely playful and intelligent and gets along with all dogs big and small. She is truly gentle and diplomatic with all dogs. She loves kids, the dog park, wrestling, chasing, tug-o-war, teasing and being teased. She's quiet, curious, not at all hyper, but confident. She needs a home and family who is active and can give her the physical activity she needs, but she also needs a home with a fence at least six feet tall. Honey also has lost an eye to glaucoma. It has not slowed her down a bit. She is a great dog who just needs a home that can match her needs. She’ll come with any toys and tools needed -- harness, leash, crate, bed, puzzles, lure and chase game, etc. She also loves squash and sweet potatoes, and she stays off the furniture. :-) We are holding on extra long because she deserves a good home, but we are running out of time with her.
