Hey I’m Scout! I was born March 26, 2023. I’m a very energetic girl who loves to chew on bones, play in the water and run around. I also enjoy cuddling up at night and demanding pets. One important thing you should know is I’m scared with strangers. I went through a traumatic experience at a board and train facility where I received thermal burns down my leg and chest so I now have scars both physically and emotionally. I need a loving and patient home but also an active home. I’m very food motivated!!! I’m on a prescription diet of hills science diet gastrointestinal biome which helps me greatly. I’ll come with my kennel, my leash, a bag of food, my elevated food and water bowls as well as a nice food storage container.

This is Kira! She is a sweet 9 month old mix breed puppy. She is spayed and all shots are up to date. She is very much a lap dog and melts in your arms when you pet her. I adopted her from the animal foundation in June, she was listed as a stray. She is friendly and has never bit a person. She gets really excited meeting new people and wants to be pet by everyone. She knows the commands of wait, sit, and paw. She is mostly potty trained but still has accidents now and then as she is still a puppy and is still learning to control her bladder. She still likes to jump on people when she meets them but is learning not to. I am deciding to rehome her before I become too attached as I no longer have access to a yard for her to play in. She lives with me in my apartment complex and the only time she can go outside is when I walk her. I am quite busy lately getting my career established and only want the best for her. She would love to have access to a personal yard, doesn’t have to be huge.

My mom says I am a this/that breed of dog, because I am a little of this and a little of that!😄 We think I’m about a year old & stay under 40lbI really love snuggling with my person, head scratches (THE BEST!), and being your loyal shadow. I take a little longer to warm up to new people than some pups, but I can be very loving once I feel safe.Important needs:• No small children, please. I have snapped at the little humans in my current home, but I also growl if they enter the room I’m in or if they’re too loud.• I have been around cats and am learning to be friendly• Big barker, it’s my second fav hobby!• Allergies, a cherry eye that shows up when the allergies get bad, and strong scavenging/chasing instincts. I love smelling all of the smells!I’m a good pup but need an experienced, patient owner committed to training and management. She does not get along with other dogs/cats: I am hoping to find a home where she is the only pet. She is home trained and kennel trained. She love rolling in the grass and swimming.
