Story
Maddy is a sweet and energetic girl who we’ve come to realize needs more than our current home can offer her. She struggles to feel comfortable around other dogs, particularly in new environments, and can become reactive and tense around them a challenge that’s difficult to manage in a multi-dog household. As the largest dog, she can unintentionally overwhelm the smaller dogs, and despite our best efforts, we haven’t been able to find a dynamic that feels fair to everyone involved. Maddy has a big personality and a lot of energy, and we truly believe she would flourish in a spacious home ideally with land or a farm setting where she can run and explore freely. She would thrive as the sole pet, with all the love and attention focused on her.

Story
Hi meet Sally. My sister and I found her a couple years ago on the side of the road in a rural area. She took to us right away and has been doing great! She is sweet and loves giving kisses. Sally is house trained and uses a doggy door. She loves going on walks. If you need a hiking partner, Sally is your dog. She does have a loud bark, but she is only protecting her home. She knows to stop if you use the words quiet and whisper. She knows commands such as sit, wait (when waiting to cross a street, tell her wait and she will patiently wait and sit). We have to surrender her for two reasons. First she was in a home with small pups and one of pups bit a neighbor so Sally and the two other pups had to be removed. I took Sally in, but my dog is having a hard time adjusting and simply does not like the change. So now I have to surrender her. My sister and I are trying to find the best home for Sally because we know she is a good dog and deserves to be with someone that will take good care

Not nervous or afraid of fireworks. No incessant barking - will only bark if an unknown car comes up the drive but fine once she meets the person. She does bark at cats and snakes.No-destructive chewing or digging - the puppy stage is over! She does like to devour sticks outside. Story
Lily is a sweet girl who needs a family who has a lot of time on their hands for her. She’s had puppies, and fostered another littler while she was at the shelter. She’s is a little over a year old. She loves walks, running, chew toys, and cuddles. Our family unfortunately cannot give her our full attention at this time with a baby in the house. She really is a good dog who needs a loving and active home.
