Story
This is special (8/24/2021). She is the daughter of two of my other dogs, Gypsy and Dobby. We have kept her for the last 5 years since her birth. She is friendly with her father, her mother and her do not get along but it is of no fault of specials. She has not been around dogs that she has not grown up around. She also is nervous around young kids and will likely just run away as she has never tried to bite at anyone. She is very skiddish at first, but once she gets to know you she will not leave you alone. She will require a lot of patience, just at first to get used to you. We love special very much and we are heartbroken that we can no longer provide her with adequate care due to upcoming changes in living situation. Rather than dropping her off at the pound, where she may never find a home, we hope this will provide her with the forever home we had once thought we could provide.

Story
Sweet, happy, energetic boy! Loves to play! We adopted Eddie from the Albuquerque Human Society in March 2026. One yr old neutered mixed pitt bull/Shepard breed picked up near Ruidoso, NM. Unfortunately, as busy parents of three young children, Eddie needs more attention, exercise, and training than we can provide. Hoping he can make a sweet, loyal, fun companion for someone else. Gets along with our cat. Does well with other dogs at the dog park. Would likely do very well as a second or additional dog in someone's home- as he enjoys and relaxes in the company of an older dog. Happy to answer any questions your have about Eddie. Thanks for considering him!

Story
Maddy is a sweet and energetic girl who we’ve come to realize needs more than our current home can offer her. She struggles to feel comfortable around other dogs, particularly in new environments, and can become reactive and tense around them a challenge that’s difficult to manage in a multi-dog household. As the largest dog, she can unintentionally overwhelm the smaller dogs, and despite our best efforts, we haven’t been able to find a dynamic that feels fair to everyone involved. Maddy has a big personality and a lot of energy, and we truly believe she would flourish in a spacious home ideally with land or a farm setting where she can run and explore freely. She would thrive as the sole pet, with all the love and attention focused on her.

Story
She's very energetic since she's young. She is still learning to not be mouthy, very sweet and cuddly, enjoys car rides, still learning to not pull on a leash. She's very smart and knows some tricks like sit, leave it, paw, other paw, gentle, and lay down. She is still learning stay. We suspect that she was abused because of old scars and she's weary of men. We think she would do better with other dogs or by herself if she has alot of attention, and better with older children (12+) because she's still learning to not jump on things/people. She is a bit protective over food and family. She will come with her toys, food, treats, leash, harness, bowls, car seat belts, baby gates, another 6 month flea and tick collar (just put a new one on 6/1), and paper work. She really likes wet food with gravy and this was the only thing she'd eat during a road trip. She just turned one at the end of April.
