Story
Due to unforeseen medical complications, we are having to move into a family member’s home to be their caregiver during this time. We are looking for the best home for the best boy. Archer was rescued from TX where he was found in a dumpster. We got him when he was 6 mo. He loves to swim, loves being around people. He’s big but if you let him he will sit in your lap. He’s a great guard dog, but would love to just lounge around and chew antlers or swim until he can hardly walk. He was raised with a cat for 5 years of his life and another dog his whole life. He listens to commands well and just likes following you around. He is not a huge fan of the heat but loves being outside as long as there is shade!

Story
Mia is a very sweet dog. She's loving, personable and bright. Her favorite thing is to crawl under a blanket and sit with a person. My girlfriend and I adopted her from a shelter in downtown Rochester, NY. We've had her since the beginning of January 2026, which as of now is about 8 months. We both love her. She sleeps well with us and loves to play. She's learning how to tug and fetch, its awesome to see. She didnt come from a playful environment. She's also a favorite to kids in our neighborhood when walked. She's curious and loves getting into some mud or water when given the chance. The only issue we've had is that she does not get along with the dog we adopted 5 years ago. Even with consistent training these two seem likely to not cohabitate. They do not do well off leash together which is unique.I feel like Mia would thrive in a similar environment but just not this one. She's a wonderful dog. Never returning to a shelter. Hopefully a new home

Story
Ti was 6 months old when I got him in June of 2020. He is extremely loyal, devoted, protective, and a good listener. He loves being outdoors, playing fetch, and staying active. He needs exercise and mental stimulation. When he feels safe and secure, he can be a wonderful, affectionate companion. He does have significant anxiety and can be very skittish. When uncomfortable, he may growl to communicate that he needs space. He takes anxiety medication, which helps but does not completely resolve his issues. His biggest challenge is aggression towards my other dog. Over the six years l have had him, he has attacked and injured my other dog several times. Because of this history, he must be the only dog in the home. He needs an owner who is comfortable managing serious dog aggression. He can be okay with children in certain situations, but interactions must be carefully supervised due to his anxiety and sensitivity. This is an incredibly difficult decision because he can be a great dog.
