Story
Ebony is a playful, energetic, sweet 1 year old 30lb girl. She is house trained, doesn’t chew anything except the toys given to her, and is very well emotionally regulated as in she does not bark upon separation (Doggy gold medal!). My kids love her. She likes to greet by standing on hind legs and putting paws on you. Originally from Indiana, she made her way to NYC through Best Friends adoption clinic. Ambiguous language in the lease on pets plus wishful thinking apparently don’t mix and landlord said no. We live in the outskirts of nyc so I felt we would have been an ideal placement however she is anxious around any loud street noises from delivery truck, garbage truck, lawn mowers, etc. Despite our neighborhood being relatively quiet by NYC standards it is still a bit much on her. She was placed on anti anxiety med while being fostered in downtown Manhattan (loud noises) so adopter needs to consult with vet to taper them down if needed.

Nash's basic bio is below, but we maintain more detailed information about each of our animals on our website, which is also always up to date with animals removed immediately once they are adopted. Please visit Nash's page on our site (https://www.muddypawsrescue.org/adoptable?dog=009355) to learn even more about Nash! Additionally, please note that the breed listed for Nash is just our best guess based on the dog's physical features. We cannot make any guarantees about the accuracy of our guesses. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO VOLUME, WE ARE GENERALLY UNABLE TO RESPOND TO INQUIRIES MADE USING THE 'ASK ABOUT ME' BUTTON. Please reach out to us directly using the contact information on our website: www.muddypawsrescue.org. Nash (AKA tater tot AKA potato AKA cutest puppy ever) is the most adjustable puppy - he puts himself to sleep in his crate after about 60mins of individual and human-assisted play, he already pees and poos on the pee pad, and he’s reacted well to exposure (through the playpen, no contact) to cats and a resident dog. For such a young pup he’s an empath - he’s teething so we squeal high pitched “ow or yelp!” if he nibbles on our fingers/toes and he immediately stops and gives licks. He only cries or whines if he is telling you he is going to the bathroom on his pee pads lol. He easily settles into whatever mode you direct him - play ,sleep, eat - Nash is the perfect puppy.

Please reach out to us directly using the contact information on our website: www.muddypawsrescue.org. Hi there! My name is Peanut. It’s hard to believe I’m brand new both to the city and to the world, being only 3 months old, because I am such a good puppy! I also LOVE listening to the TV, so I’d be thrilled to listen to your favorite show with you. I love other dogs, and playing with my foster sister dog is my favorite way to spend my time. I want to spend time with my foster family’s cats; unfortunately, I think they’re a puppy like me and want to play with them, and they’re not so much a fan of that. My favorite toys are rope toys with stuffies on them and spiky balls that I can fit in my mouth, but honestly, I love most anything I can fit in my mouth. I think it’s hilarious to steal large plushie toys from my foster sister and howl at her when she tries to take them back. I haven’t learned yet to spit out cardboard toys or fluff rather than eating it, so I’m better off with actual toys rather than DIY ones. I’m a pro at sleeping in my crate and have slept through the night since day 2 in my foster home, but I’m still working on my potty pad training. I get really excited while playing and don’t always realize I need to go potty until I’m already having an accident. My foster parents have been encouraging me to use the pads with treats and praise, and I’m getting better at it every day! I don’t like sleeping in a quiet room because every noise seems so loud, but I LOVE to sleep to the TV. White noise is only okay, but I love hearing people talk, so TV is perfect. I also really love going for walks in my puppy backpack! Being outside is awesome, but the city has a lot of new noises I’m still getting used to. I’m not the biggest fan of unexpected loud noises like cars honking or dogs barking at me on the street, but really, who is? I’m brand new to the city and still have lots of learning to do! I am working on the commands “sit” and “lay down.” I’m an indoor puppy, so I use pads exclusively for potty time. I love kibble and treats alike, with my favorite treat right now being teething rings that I’m given while hanging out in my playpen. My foster parents tell me every day how cute I am and how much they love my floppy ears, so I must be pretty special. Do I sound like the right fit for your family? Apply to adopt me today at Muddy Paws Rescue.

He’s always up for play time but when it’s time, he loves his naps with his sister Holly. He has ad adventurous distortion, but always listens when I’ve told him to come back and stop a certain investigation such as when he tried to befriend my cat, who was not open to making friends. They amicably gave eachother space and he took the cat’s cue to leave alone. Very impressive! He is a gem, and anyone would be very lucky to have him in their life.

She plays when you want to play but is never over zealous, and plays low key. She loves playing with her brother, Merry, running around but then snuggling with him for long naps. She sleeps through the night, and always does her business on the pee pads, which is a superstar move in my opinion. She burrows in my hair and falls asleep. Anyone would be lucky to have her!
