She’s taking on city life with confidence, curiosity, and a wagging tail, and she loves stopping to say hello to everyone she meets along the way. She has the kindest, most gentle disposition and truly seems to believe that every person she meets is already her friend. She’s the perfect mix of adventure buddy and cuddle bug. Miley adores her walks and is always happy to keep going, but the second you give her some scratches, she turns into a total love puddle. She’ll happily melt into your lap, soak up every ounce of affection, and look at you like you’re her whole world. Miley is incredibly smart and eager to please. She’s already learning “come, sit, and down” and responds best to praise, love, and positive attention. She’s doing great with crate time and will go in willingly when she’s ready for a nap or bedtime. She’s also working on potty training and showing all the signs that she’ll pick it up quickly (only accidents happened on day 1 with her). Miley is truly one of those dogs who makes everyone fall in love with her. Anyone lucky enough to welcome her into their home is getting a best friend for life.

I’m still learning how to be the best boy I can be, so I’m hoping to find a patient, loving home that’s excited to grow with me. I’m working on my manners every day! I’m not fully potty trained yet, but I’m making progress with routine and consistency. When I get really excited during playtime, I sometimes forget myself and nip a bit—oops! I’m learning better ways to express my enthusiasm and do great with gentle guidance and positive reinforcement. Walks are one of my favorite parts of the day, even though I can pull on the leash sometimes (there’s just so much to see!). With practice, I’m already getting better. I have been a very good boy during bed times, going out for my last walk of the night and then sleep in my crate straight through the morning. When I’m not out exploring, you’ll usually find me living my best cozy life—lounging on the couch, chewing on my favorite toys, or snuggling up for a nice nap. I love being near my people and am happiest when I feel safe, loved, and included. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate young dog who’s full of potential and ready to learn, I might just be your guy. I promise to bring lots of love, laughs, and cuddles into your life. He has the goofy, playful personality of a bigger dog even though he’s only 30 pounds. He is very loyal to the person who feeds him and just wants to be near you all the time, while still being friendly to strangers. This is a dog who sees with his nose so it’s important to let him sniff. More visual skills like climbing up stairs are a bit stressful for him but he is improving every day because he is very eager to please.

She is quick to give you her belly as she loves (and quietly insists on) scratches. She has not barked, only small little noises when she’s excited or wants something. She’s quietly chatty! Loves to nap … but she’s also been on some meds/ was recently spayed and is on the mend. She’s happy to take a walk at any time, and loves to meet people. Not super into toys (she mostly uses them as pillows) but likes a bully stick or chew.

Cotton is a sweet, affectionate boy with the perfect balance of playful energy and cozy cuddle time. He loves being around people and will happily squeeze into the smallest nook next to you on the couch for some quality snuggles. His favorite activities include playing with toys in short, happy bursts, meeting other dogs, and gazing out the window, but he’s just as content taking a nap by your side. On walks, Cotton does great with other dogs and enjoys greeting them, and while he’s curious about people, he can be a little nervous when approached at first. Inside the apartment, new people and unfamiliar noises may make him bark briefly, but he warms up quickly and soon becomes incredibly affectionate — often ending up in someone’s lap. He does especially well with new people in the apartment when he is introduced to them outside and they walk in together. He hasn’t interacted with cats, but shows no interest in birds or pigeons outdoors, and he has walked by children without issue. Cotton is doing great learning commands and is very food-motivated, which makes training easy. He has no issues with baths or being cleaned and loves being held. Overall, Cotton is a truly lovable, gentle soul and an absolute bundle of joy who will make a wonderful companion.

I’m came up from Kentucky with a bag full of all my belonging from my former home including the cute Christmas sweater in my photos. I am still figuring out my place in this big city. I like to go out, even though it has been very cold, to take walks and sniff around. I am learning that dogs pee and poo outside right on the sidewalk!! I love to snuggle up my foster mom and take naps next to her on the couch. I also love to play with my toys and even play fetch and tug! I know how to sit and am learning the word drop. I like treats so those will help me learn. I didn’t pee or poop outside at first. I just did not understand. But last night I did it and got lots of praise and a treat! I did it today too after a few tries. Yay me!
