Powdered Munchkin is the ultimate "lap dog" who lives for snuggles, gentle walks, and being pampered like the princess she is. She is a foster parent's dream: fully house-trained, great with other dogs, and a pro at sleeping through the night in her crate. While she loves her naps and snuggling deep into her blankets, she still has adorable "bursts of energy" and is always ready for a walk. Before coming into Muddy Paws care Butter had to have one of her back legs amputated. But that hasn't slowed her down one bit! Who needs all four legs, right?! Butter has been nothing but sweet and loving and so very resilient. She loves her humans and will cuddle all day long. She also loves her foster brother and even her cat foster siblings. Butter can be shy and a little nervous at first but once you give her a good treat, she's all yours. Butter is fully pee pad trained and working hard on her potty training - it's hard to relearn things with one less limb! She is working hard on her crate training and walks well on leash. If you are willing to open your home to Butter-bear she will be your best friend forever.

Story
Ziggy is a sweet, silly, and loving 4.5 year old dog that we have loved having as part of our family. He was rescued from Tennessee and had a rough start to life, but he has come a long, long way. Ziggy is still a very nervous pup and would prefer a very quiet environment. Ziggy is dog reactive and should be in a home without other pets or children. We recently welcomed a baby, and while he has shown no aggression, he is clearly very uncomfortable with her and is having to be locked away for longer and longer stretches, which isn’t fair to him. We’re heartbroken to be taking this step, but we know that Ziggy can make someone else as happy as he has made us. Ideally, we would like to see Ziggy land with experienced dog owners who live in a quiet and spacious environment without other pets. We do have another dog that he’s great with, so it’s possible that with the right dog (extremely patient, not assertive) and proper introductions, he could thrive in a two-dog home.
