Story
Bear is an approx 31 lbs 11-12 yr old terrier mix rescue. He has tons of energy and is very friendly towards people. He loves attention, playing gentle tug of war and licking faces. He is an exited, happy jumper and might accidentally push over small children because he wants to lick faces and attention. He loves to bark, so an apt is not ideal. Bear is not dog friendly unless introduced in a controlled manner. He did have a sister he became buddies with. He is highly aggressive/reactive to other dogs, especially on leash. Since Bear is an older gentleman he has gum disease but recently had his teeth cleaned and the top front teeth removed. He also has harmless lipomas under his skin and ear infections that are easily managed. Bear is up-to-date on shots, goes to kennel if you say "kennel," he knows how to "speak" and "sit" for a treat. He would do well in a single dog home with a nice fenced backyard and a comfy bed. Trying to do the best thing for him

Story
I adopted Mercury when he was 7 months old in May of 2020. He is now 6 and a half and is good with dogs and cats (he does need time to aggressively sniff any new cat though lol). I would like him to be in a home with someone who also has a strong personality. He can be pushy , especially when he wants something he isn't supposed to have. He will try to eat out of the cat box and he will get up on counters to get human food if he isn't watched. He does not listen to my partner or 13 year old daughter when they tell him no. He barks at someone that tries to take something away from him that he isn't supposed to have. He is crate trained though he does have separation anxiety and bellows for a while after being put in the crate he does eventually calm and go through sleep. He also has a happy tail from being in the crate. I'd describe him as strong willed, happy, and lazy. He loves just laying on his dog bed and eating treats or sun tanning in the front yard.

Story
Morty was a foster puppy we adopted about 3 years ago. We downsized our property a few months ago and Morty misses his yard. He has to much personality and spunk to be inside all day with 2 other dogs. He tends to be needy, sometimes timid, and likes to bark but is so loving. If you let him he will stick to you like Velcro. He desperately needs a home where he is the only dog, he needs to be the center of attention. Morty would also love a yard to play in as well. We lost our dad this past week and he had his sweet 8 year old companion Lana. We all have too many pets to take her in and we are looking for a good, loving, forever home where she can peacefully and lovingly live out the rest of her days. She has the sweetest personality and wants nothing but love. Lana was by our dads side through his ups and downs with cancer and bow she is experiencing heartbreak without him. Please we are trying to find her the best home very soon as our hearts break to have her in his home still and hear her cry out for him

I received Zoey at the One of a Kind Pet Rescue in August of 2023 I have taken her to Massillon Animal Clinic twice a year since I've had her. She has a Great Personality and as Loving as they come. It breaks my heart to have to give her up,but I am a 69 year old man who lives alone. The reason I'm looking for a home for her is: Her benefit I have COPD and cannot entertain her. This is Kaiser. I love him so much . I got him from a shelter in Georgia a little less than a month ago. He was about to euthanized due to kennel capacity. In his add it said GOOD WITH CATS. He is NOT. Very high prey drive. I have 2 and a bird. He needs to be the only pet. I don’t know how he does with other dogs. They would have to meet. He’s reactive to other animals from distances and I’m not sure that’s from the kennel. He did run with the other dogs in the kennel. He has anxiety and is a chewer. On anxiety meds. Needs lots of chew toys and supervision. He acts like a puppy in that manner. He is so gentle and a real lover. Needs lots of exercise and a fenced yard. Loves hikes, rivers, lakes, sand, pup cups, McDonalds and Chik Fil A. He’s a strong puller on leash so he needs training or a strong gentle adopter who knows positive reinforcement. I just love him and want the best home for him.
