Story
Leroy was rescued from a box with his brothers and sisters that someone left on the side of the road when they were all just born. Leroy had a bad infection on his neck from the previous owner leaving a flea collar on for far too long. We nursed him back to health and he is a strong young adult now. Unfortunately, we have a baby in the home and Leroy is just too playful to be around our son. Leroy is very loyal and protective.

Story
Buddy is my dad’s dog. My dad has Alzheimer’s and he and my mom are moving on Sept 1 from the country (i will be around until at least the fourth), where buddy has had mostly free rein to wander about, to a smaller home in what is basically a trailer park. Because we don’t live in town, we can’t surrender him to our local shelter and every other shelter that I’ve contacted are at capacity. I believe he is 5 years old, his mother was a mixed breed but resembled a small German shepherd, his dad was a mixed breed pit, if I remember right. He is good with most dogs but was very aggressive towards my brother’s male dog especially when either my dog (f) or another female dog was around, to the point we had to keep them separate at all times (both my brother’s dog and mine passed earlier this year, and we have a male and female dog that Buddy gets along with fine, and he’s never bothered my mother’s chihuahuas). I think he’d be best out in the country, he’s never been on a leash.

Story
Garmin is a 3½-yo, 42 lb, Potcake that we adopted from Turks & Caicos. He is an adorable, sweet dog who deserves to live his absolute best life. Unfortunately, after a few years of trying to make things work, we’ve come to realize that his best life probably isn’t with us. Garmin would thrive as an only dog in a calm, quiet home, preferably without young children. He gets along with some dogs, but not dominant ones. He gets along fine with our two dogs that are laid back/passive, but not our dominant mastiff mix, who is also a rescue. He is great with our kids, but he can be skittish around loud noises & sudden movements. Garmin is a good walker and super athletic. He can run like the wind, loves getting pets and is a great snuggler! We know he can be the perfect companion for someone out there! He is up-to-date on everything, microchipped, neutered and ready for a new forever family. 100% of the adoption fee goes to local rescue - willing to transport anywhere in the lower 48.

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Zeus was rescued and found malnourished, he has since fattened into a chunky boy. He can sit, lay, rollover, and considers himself a lap dog. Zeus is a gentle dog with a high tolerance for toddler behavior. He needs a home full of attention and love. He loves to play, but is careful not to bite and would rather give up his toy than accidentally bite you. He has never bitten anyone. You can reach into his bowl without fear of being bit and he will eat about anything you give him. He mostly is content to just lay next to you at this age and sleep.
