Story
We adopted Johnny Walker (nickname Walker) when he was a 3mo old puppy in 2019. He spent his puppy years snuggling next to me while I worked, and to this day remains a very loving dog that is desperate for attention, snuggles, and someone to spend time with him. He was the perfect addition to our family and loves to play with our other large dog Jack Daniels. When Walker turn 4yrs old, we started noticing some behavior issues as he attempted to claim alpha status. While Walker is a sweetheart and never shown aggression toward humans, he leans on the anxious side and will growl at strangers (usually unfamiliar men). We have many little kids in our house and can’t risk anything happening to them which is why we are looking for a new home to give Walker the attention he deserves. Walker will sit and stay for food, and LOVES to sprint through fields. He would do well on a farm or somewhere with land!

Story
We had gotten Junior from the shelter about 6 years ago, which we guess he was about 1 at the time, and our bed has not been empty since! He loves to snuggle and we joke that he is a boxer because when we play he prefers to use his paws rather than his mouth. He truly is the sweetest boy and it breaks our hearts that we have struggled keeping him. He will truly make such a fun addition to any family!

Story
Barbie: If you’re looking for a dog who brings personality, joy, and a whole lot of love into a home, Barbie is your girl. This happy, energetic sweetheart is currently recovering from a tail injury and doing great with proper care and management. Even with her healing journey, her spirit hasn’t skipped a beat. She’s affectionate and always excited to be part of whatever her people are doing. In her foster home, Barbie has shown that she thrives with structure and routine. She loves engagement, playtime, and being included — and after she gets her energy out, she’s ready to settle and relax. She benefits from clear boundaries and calm leadership, which help her be her very best self. She has a big personality, an even bigger heart, and so much love to give. With the right home to continue supporting her healing and helping her channel her enthusiasm, she’s going to make an incredibly loyal and fun companion. She would fit best with an active family with older kids that can give her plenty of exercise. If you’re ready for a joyful, loving girl who will keep life interesting and your heart full, Barbie can’t wait to meet you. She is spayed, DHLPP and rabies vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated and heartworm negative. Please note: our Petfinder listings are updated daily. Story
Opal is the sweetest dog! She is 45 lbs and believes she is a lap dog. She is super affectionate with people and other dogs and is very loyal and protective. She loves to play and is full of energy for a 3 year old dog (est.). She sleeps in the bed with me each night and she absolutely loves going for a ride in my truck. She is an incredible companion, she doesn't chew on the furniture, is house broken, fully vaccinated, and spayed. She requires constant company/supervision though or else she gets bored easily. This brings me to why I have to rehome her. Opal has (had) free reign of the house, to include the back yard by way of a doggie door, while I'm at work. I have a small back yard (approximately 3500 square feet) with a new 6' chainlink fence. When she gets lonely or bored in my absence, she has repeatedly chewed holes through the fence and escaped the yard. She needs constant company, a barrier fence, or property where she run and burn off her energy.
