She is incredibly sweet with adults, loves receiving affection and attention, and is fiercely loyal to her chosen person. She has a great balance of independence—she is content doing her own thing—but will always be ready to bond deeply with her owner. She absolutely loves the outdoors and looks forward to her daily walks. She is also an excellent watchdog; she isn't a nuisance barker, but she will absolutely let you know when someone is approaching. If you have a yard, she takes her "job" seriously and is great at keeping it clear of unwanted pests.

Cruz has been with me for almost 3 years. He’s been sweet to me and a great dog but after a recent move from a house to an apartment and a change in work hours/days he’s regressed a bit and needs to be crated when I’m not there. That’s has been increasingly more as work has me away a lot. He’s been good with my other dogs and cats we’ve had as well as my children. He is skittish around men because he was originally a rescue.

Nala is an 8yo, 45 lb, spayed/vaccinated Heeler/Pit/Lab mix. Due to severe health issues, I must find her a loving home. She is smart, sweet, and trained, but needs a farm/ranch job or agility work with a consistent leader. Loyal and protective, she will guard her family and herd from animals larger than a cat. She loves human affection, running, and nipping heels, but has no interest in toys or fetch. Nala prefers being the only active dog (can integrate with a passive dog under expert oversight).She is a short-haired double-coated shedder, but patient with grooming, and not a chewer. She loves her one bone and fresh treats, but likes to roam so she requires a secure fence (she won't jump a standard one). I am heartbroken to part with her and willing to travel to find the right home where she can work off her energy.
