Story
Duke is a 2½-year-old neutered pit bull mix who is affectionate, energetic, housebroken, and devoted to his person. He LOVES people and other dogs, and car rides are his favorite thing in the world. He's food-motivated, knows sit/lay/paw, sleeps quietly through the night, and is well behaved in the house when I'm home.Duke does have some needs: he is very attached to his person and struggles when left alone, becoming anxious and sometimes howling or rearranging things to look out the windows. He is strong on leash and can pull, so an experienced handler is important. He also jumps enthusiastically on people, so older children or an adult-only home would likely be best. He needs a securely fenced yard and should not live with cats. Thunderstorms and fireworks are very frightening to him.He will go with beds, toys, leash/collar, travel supplies, remaining food/medication, records, etc. I'm looking for a loving, committed home where his great personality and loyalty will be appreciated.

Roshi – Sweet, Energetic Boy Looking for His Forever Home! Roshi is a very sweet and gentle boy who has never shown any aggression toward humans. He’s full of energy, loves to play, listens well to commands, and enjoys getting attention and pets from his people. He has a happy, goofy personality and makes a great companion for someone who can keep up with his active lifestyle! Important details for the right home: Roshi does show food aggression/resource guarding and attention-seeking behaviors toward other dogs. He can get reactive (growling or guarding) around food, treats, or when competing for attention with other canines. Because of this, he would do best as the only dog in an adult-only home (or with very experienced dog owners who are comfortable with management strategies). We have successfully managed these behaviors by feeding him separately and giving him individual attention, but he will need a similar setup in his new home to stay happy and safe.

Story
We got Marley when she was just 6-8 weeks old and loved having her around the house. She done terrific with our baby and everyone she is around. We realized that we could not keep her due to time limitations with our child and an increase in working hours. We do not have anyone to watch her during the day while we are at work and are unable to afford a dog sitter and we do not feel right about having to put her outside on a chain during this period especially with colder months coming along. She has no known issues whether it be behavioral or medical and would make a terrific dog for someone who could be more active with her. She loves outside and would rather be outside 90% of the time and would play well with younger children.

Story
Meet Rex He’s a very loved 2 year old Bernedoodle. Around 50Ibs. He was neutered this year. He’s house trained, does well in a crate, or being left out. He does well on a leash and loves walks. He is a little timid and reactive at first till he warms up to you, but once he warms up… he loves all the attention and affection. He could use some basic training as all he knows is sit and shake, but he’s is a super sweet boy and listens well. The only thing he’s bad mannered with is he is a sock thief. He loves car rides and fetch. He does have a sensitive stomach, so I watch what food I give him (no table foods) and no chicken. He’s been around kids since he was a puppy and does well with them, never been aggressive at all but he’s definitely more hyper around kids than adults. He will probably be best suited as being an only dog or least not around small dogs- (after warming up he does fine with other doodles and some dogs his size)
