Max is a 12 year old heeler mix with a very loving disposition. He would make an excellent pet for a family with kids or individual owner. He is current on his shots, has been neutered, and is still robust and active. Everyone loves Max! We are looking to move from our country home to a place where it would be difficult to have an outdoor dog. Max is used to being outdoors, gets along well with other dogs, but is not a cat lover.

Allena is a 14 year old collie mix who gets along well with other dogs her size but not smaller ones or cats. She is still active and used to being outdoors, not in. We are looking to move from our country home to a place where it would be difficult to have an outdoor dog. Allena would make a great family dog as she loves people!

Story
Abandoned 2 in front of our house when pups, they are 2 years old, and we took them in. The are sweet, easily trained and lovable and are wonderful with our grandkids from age 6 up. They do have energy and need a yard. They eat whatever is put down for them, and are trained to to sit before receiving their treats and sit on command. They get along with the cats and love our little dog. Because of our age and health we are being forced to downsize to a tiny home and/or assisted living and will not be able to take them with us. They need to be kept together if possible BUT WILL CONSIDER SEPARATI ON. They have been well behaved for us and are both spayed and current on shots and heartworm medicine. We treat them for heartworms and fleas/ticks monthly. We have a designated sleeping area for them at night and they remain quietly and happily till we let them out each morning. They weigh between 70-80 lbs. each. in the picture Laverne is right Shirley left.

Joey is a very sweet and lovable dog. I rescued him from a patient of mine that had a stroke and was unable to take care of him and he has been with us for three years. Unfortunately, I am pregnant with my second child and I am unable to take care of him while pregnant and I’m afraid I will not be able to take care of him after I give birth. He gets along well with other dogs and he just wants a lot of love and attention

This is heartbreaking for me. He was given to me by my elderly mother when she entered assisted living. After 2 years of trying to make things work in a multi-pet household, it’s become clear he needs a different environment away from 4 dogs 3-4x his size. He’s a loving, cuddly little guy who loves laps, blankets, kisses, snacks, and playing. He’s very affectionate with people he trusts and is truly my little buddy. I want to be transparent about his needs. He will bite when scared and restrained, especially for nail trims (muzzled at vet is best) and snaps at bigger dogs in his space. He’d do best either as the only pet or with another <20lb dog with no cats to chase or young children. He needs a patient, experienced owner who will respect his boundaries and safely manage his behavior. My biggest priority is finding him a safe, permanent home with someone equipped to help him thrive. He will come with his bowl, gear, hoodie, bed, and 6mo of heartworm prevention.
