I took in scout back in late December while i was in a marriage separation and the owner was not having luck in rehoming her. Scout is a 7 year old mix pitbull mix, spayed and weights in around 30-35 lbs. she loves to cuddle and is well potty trained as she will let out whines whenever she needs to go out. Great on a leash, kennel trained but dislikes it, picky eater but she will eat when she feels hungry. I got back together in my marriage and scout needs a household with no kids or older kids that know cuddle/play time is and whenever thy have to leave scout alone. As she is 7 years old if she wants to relax that’s all she wants to do and gets frustrated whenever my 2 1/2 year old is playing or making loud noises around her. She has not become violent or aggressive she just gets annoyed barks and runs away. She’s a great dog but need to rehome her where she is relaxed and someone will give her some love. Kennel, food included.

Meet the big ball of energy Juana! She is a 2 yr old 42lb pit mix, with a wiggly body and shes very curious. I adopted her in October from Dallas Animal shelter from a BeDallas90 event. I had hoped it would be a good fit, but with work, I dont have the time I need to take care of her properly. My other dog is somewhat reactive and while thee mostly very friendly and cuddly with each other, I need to find a new home for Juana. Juana is an energetic pup who loves to run, cuddle and play. She hasnt met cats before and needs to be better socialized around more dogs and currently lives with my other dog. Juana does like to play with my dog, although sometimes doesnt understand her own strength and can use some work on playing gently. Juana loves to cuddle up with her humans and believes shes a lapdog crawling over and licking everything. Shes very curious, likes to explore and play with toys. An ideal home for Juana would be one with an attentive skilled owner who can train dogs

We found Ellie in early November in rural Louisiana and she had clearly been fending for herself for quite some time. She was emaciated, tick-covered, and living off whatever scraps she could find in the woods. Since then, she has blossomed into a healthy 50-lb bundle of pure sweetness. She is extremely affectionate and people-oriented. She is crate trained and housebroken. She walks well on a leash and knows basic commands. She does show some fear responses to loud noises and sudden movements (likely from past trauma). She may cower initially, but does not show any kind of aggression and this will decrease as she builds trust. To make her transition as smooth as possible, her adoption includes a large crate and crate pad, large dog bed, harness and leash. She would thrive as either a single pet or in a home with other friendly dogs around her size. Unfortunately, our smaller dog doesn't want to share her space which is the only reason why we are trying to find her a new home.

Belle was rescued outside of my place of work. She was very shy and no one knew how long it would take for her to over come social anxiety. However, I embraced her, loved her and taught her she was okay to be playful and her best version of her. Belle is cautious when meeting people, doesn’t bite/ will when playing not hard and listens when told. There’s few she’ll go directly to. She will go away and or bark depending on person. She loves dog parks and running. She does have a sensitive stomach. As she’s getting older I’m noticing it’s not as sensitive but I’m still cautious to feed her Blue Buffalo or this other clean brand. She doesn’t use the restroom inside she motions at me when she wants to go out or food/snack. Belle is one. I consider her birthday to be in June or July. She will need some patience with her new home and retraining from new care taker . She got all her shots when I first got her and annual. She’d come with cage toys and a bag of each food. She’s awesome.

We are looking to rehome our sweet dog, Frankie. Frankie is 65 lb, neutered, and thought by our vet to be an Australian Kelpie mix. He’s ~ 2.5+ years old, high energy, athletic, smart, and loves people, including small children. Frankie lived peacefully with our other dog for over two years. However, over the past couple of months, Frankie has been involved in two dog-to-dog incidents: • One occurred when a gate was left unlatched and he went after a dog walking past our home with its owner. • Another occurred in our backyard with our other dog. Both incidents unfortunately required veterinary care. Because we have two very young children—one who runs toward the dogs whenever there is conflict—we no longer feel we can safely keep Frankie. We believe he’d thrive as the only dog in a home with an owner who can give him the mental stimulation and physical activity he needs and deserves. We suspect his recent aggressive behavior is due in part to not having enough of either.
