Story
Kona was adopted from a shelter when she was 1 year old. She is now 8 years old as of July. She loves the sun, she is a mellow dog, she loves going on walks and is very intelligent. We believe her to be a mix of terrier, ridgeback, lab, and maybe pit. Her overall personality is lovable, goofy, and sweet. She will cuddle up on the couch with you if you want, but will also mind her own if that’s your preference. She prefers a quieter house. Disclosure: recently she bit our 4 yr old son. His energy level was way too high the day she had gotten her vaccines and blood drawn and as she is an older dog, she wanted space and he got too close. Kona has never bit anyone in else, but will get grouchy with kids and seniors if/when they make loud or sudden moves that startle her. As stated, she would be most successful in a quieter home without kids, or much older kids who can and will respect her space as she ages.
