Story
Avery is the most loving dog I have ever been around. She literally gives standing hugs when you return home. She is such a joy...those crooked ears are just too adorable--she had me at first glance at the SPCA in 2019. She is approximately 11 years old and has the physicality and mentality of a young dog. She is extremely alert and active, so she needs a place to run a couple of days per week. She is in her element at a local dog park where dogs are permitted to run off leash on both wooded and grassy trails. To watch her sprint is an amazing thing! She is easily trained and adapts to new people quickly. She is gentle with children. We have two cats and she is good with both of them. Avery does need an experienced walker who knows how to handle athletic and reactive pups. When walking her on a leash, vigilance is key. She does well with treats and distraction when passing dogs and a tug on the leash with verbal cues works with deer, squirrels and rabbits.

Story
Hello,Our family adopted Rosie when she was 12 weeks old in Dallas, TX, from a large-breed shelter. She is a loving, affectionate, playful dog that has given our family a lot of joy! Unfortunately our daughter has developed pretty serious pet allergies, and is suffering despite regular allergy treatment. It is with a heavy heart that our family has decided it would be best to try and rehome Rosie for the health of our daughter.Rosie is a wonderful dog and is great with children and other dogs! She is an energetic and playful girl who does best when she can play, be outdoors, and feel part of a family.

Story
Millie is a sweet girl who is about 8 years old and looking for her forever home. She absolutely loves people and kids. She is super playful as well as a big cuddle bug who would happily sleep in your bed. She can be timid around men at first but warms up once she gets to know them. Millie needs to be the only pet in the home and cannot be around cats or other animals. We love her dearly, and although it breaks our hearts to rehome her, we want to find her a loving family where she can be your one and only. ❤️🐾
