Story
Smoky is a good boy. We got him from the Christiansburg shelter in October of 2025. We are needing to move overseas and aren't able to bring him with us. If we weren't leaving we would keep him. The shelter found him on the street originally, but he had a microchip when they found him and was already neutered and house trained. They tried to contact the information linked to the microchip for months but had no success. We fell in love with him when we saw him and took him in. He is a happy dog and loves meeting new people. He is potty trained and when he needs to go he will let you know by yawning over and over and stretching. We did pay for 3 weeks train and board after we got him. He has a great soul but he does get nervous when people try to kiss him on the head or hug him but just respect his space he will be your best friend and give you lots of smiles. He likes slow calm pets. He loves to fetch.

Story
Looking to rehome our 5yr old mixed breed, female, dog. She is spayed, house trained, and up to date on all vaccinations and wellness exams. She is overall a great dog but needs a home as an only animal with no young children, which we cant provide. She loves to lay in the sun, look out windows, sit in chairs like people, and lay on the back of the couch like a cat. We have had her since she was 8wks old.

Story
Meet Noel — a sweet, loving girl with the gentlest soul. She can be timid at first, but once comfortable, she becomes the best snuggle buddy. We believe she was primarily an outdoor dog before we got her because she was initially afraid of being inside, including stairs, TVs and even pictures on the walls. Now she loves cozy naps on the furniture and being close to her people.Noel LOVES being outside, enjoys toys, and is a great car rider! She’ll chase a toy but hasn’t figured out bringing it back yet. 😊 She has also done well around chickens while supervised. She does have separation anxiety and would do best with someone home often or with a very tall, secure fenced yard. She can jump our current fence and roam, which is why we are sadly rehoming her.We want Noel to have the safe, loving home she deserves. 🐾💕

Story
Phoebe is 10 years old but you wouldn’t know it. She is very active and loves to run. She does have some skin allergies. She is a master at cuddling. She does very well with people, she is quite social, always asking for pets. She does *not* do well with other small animals like cats, lizards, etc. We have had her for her entire life but we are longer able to keep up with her as our lives have changed. We are looking for someone that is able to allow her to run more freely.

Story
Meet Blarney Stone, the “party on four paws!” At just one year old and a perfectly portable 27 pounds, Blarney is a constant source of joy. With a tail that never stops wagging and a permanent grin, he’s the ultimate “yes” dog—always ready for the next adventure, whether it’s a hike or a trip to the local winery! Why Blarney Stone is your lucky charm: The Ultimate Adventure Buddy: He is awesome on a leash and would make a world-class walking, hiking, or even running partner. A Total Socialite: Blarney has never met a stranger! He loves people, adores other dogs, and is a perfect gentleman when visiting stores or out on the town. The Best of Both Worlds: While he’s “always ready to go,” he also has a fantastic “off switch.” He’s surprisingly quiet, knows how to chill, and is a gold-medal snuggler. A Total Pro: No “puppy projects” here—he’s already house-trained and crate-trained! Blarney Stone is the perfect mix of high-energy fun and low-key sweetness. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to join you for a morning jog and an afternoon nap, you’ve found your match!
