Story
Great friend! His name is Marley, and he is 8 years old. I rescued Marley when he was 1 year old from a shelter in Texas. I have a baby on the way, and sadly, I have to let him go. If he ends up back in a shelter, I’m afraid he won’t get adopted and might be put to sleep. Please let me know if you’re interested in adopting him. Dog Details Below: Color: Brown, Black, and White Breed: Unknown Behavior: Protective of home. Doesn’t like intruders in the house. Hobbies: Loves to run in the park, sunbathe, and play catch. Important: He did bite someone who entered the house. The person was a stranger to him.

Story
Woodrow was found as a puppy with his siblings and brought to the pound. We adopted him at around 10 weeks old, and he has been a deeply loved member of our family ever since. He appears to be a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix and is affectionate, intelligent, and loyal. In the home, Woodrow is cuddly, energetic, kennel trained, house trained, and rings a bell to go outside. He thrives on human connection and responds well to consistency. Woodrow does well with the dogs in our household but struggles with anxiety and reactivity around unfamiliar dogs. He has jumped our fence and has been involved in two incidents with other dogs, making public outings and vet visits very stressful. We’ve realized we can no longer provide the environment he needs. Woodrow would do best with an experienced, patient owner in a calm home with a securely fenced yard and either no other dogs or slow, careful introductions. This decision is being made out of love and concern for his well-being.

Story
Sweet Bolt is up to date on rabies and has been neutered, 1yr old. He was rescued from bad situation, and unfortunately has witnessed more traumatic situations but he loves his humans deeply. He is high-energy, absolutely loves cuddling. Because of his history, Bolt needs a specific environment to thrive in. He is territorial around other dogs but also playful and affectionate with them. He would do best as the only pet in the home, but I believe experienced owners with other dogs who have the ability to manage territorial behavior would be fine.He has some separation anxiety so he would do well in a home with someone around often. He's house-trained but needs lots of reminders to avoid accidents. He's working on crate training. My job requires 12-16hrs a night and I dont have the ability to work w/him the way he deserves. My heart breaks to look for him a home but I know its best for him. Happy to answer any questions!

Story
Loki will be 3 years old in May and is a mixed breed with Mountain Feist. He is a sweet, playful boy who is wonderful with children and loves being around people. Loki is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations, which were administered by us through Tractor Supply. Loki does best as the only dog in the home, though he has lived successfully with our much older dog whom he grew up with. Please know that this is not the reason for our decision. Over the past year, our son has developed severe asthma, including hospitalization, and we have since learned that he is allergic to dogs. Unfortunately, Loki’s presence has been worsening his condition. As much as we love Loki, our son’s health must come first. This decision has been heartbreaking, and our top priority is ensuring that Loki goes to a safe, loving home where he will be truly cared for.

Story
Meet Woodrow – A Loving Dog Looking for the Right Home Woodrow was found in a ditch with his siblings and adopted by our family at about 10 weeks old. While we don’t know his breed, he resembles a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix with a bushy tail, hairy legs, and a loyal, intelligent personality. Woodrow is sweet, cuddly, high-energy, and deeply bonded to his people. He does very well with the dogs in our home and is kennel and house trained. He even rings a bell on the door when he needs to go outside. Unfortunately, Woodrow struggles with anxiety and aggression toward unfamiliar dogs. He has jumped our fence multiple times and been involved in two incidents, which has made public outings, vet visits, and travel extremely difficult. Despite our love for him, his needs exceed what we can safely provide. Woodrow needs a patient, experienced owner, a secure fenced yard, and a calm environment—ideally as the only dog or with someone willing to carefully manage introductions.
