Story

Charlie is around 3 years old, and he was originally adopted from a shelter. He was malnourished at the time, but he is a healthy boy now, weighing in at 60 pounds. He is very energetic, and he knows a few tricks like sit, down, place, kennel, paw, speak, and spin. He has trouble concentrating when he is distracted, so he isn’t the best at recall when out on walks, but he is extremely food motivated and will work very hard for treats. He does pull on walks when he sees other animals, and he loves eating grass. He’s never been aggressive towards animals or humans, just very curious and excitable. He also does tire out pretty quickly and likes his naps. He doesn’t like getting his nails cut, and he won’t let most tools near him, but he generally files his nails down by himself. He is good with getting brushed, and he is great with getting bathed. I am looking for a family who will be able to spend lots of time with him and give him lots of love, and preferably has a yard.

Spam has been with me for 4 years as an ESA. Unfortunately her needs have gotten to be too high for my lifestyle and I have been unable to find a doctor willing to write an ESA letter in time for me to move into my new apartment. She is the sweetest dog ever, she will follow you around and she takes direction extremely well. She is house trained however she is elderly and has incontinence issues, so she’d be best suited to live outdoors. She knows simple commands, understands directions well, is leash trained and very efficient at using the bathroom. She will make a great companion for anyone willing to take in a sweet old lady.

Honey was adopted as a puppy (~3 months old) from a shelter. She was very timid & took time to come out of her shell but is a very playful & loving 6ish year old dog now. She's always been an anxious dog and hasn't ever been one to take to crate training. She loves to run & is fairly active, but is also a massive nap taker & loves burrowing under blankets & curling up next to a fireplace more than anything. Honey doesn't get into trash or chew on things she ought not. Pretty much anything (that's not food) can be out & she won't touch it if it's not hers. Honey's patience with small children has very quickly been diminishing & she needs a home where she is free of anxiety inducing munchkins & other animals. She needs plenty of love & attention in a quiet & peaceful place. Honey has some allergy and skin issues that come and go and needs someone ready & willing to make sure she is comfortable and healthy. She's reactive and anxious around other pets and does best with just her people.

Story

Loving mixed breed family dog is VERY well trained and obedient. Knows lots of tricks and loves to play and cuddle. We now have two small children and Duke is having a hard time adjusting. We hope to find him a new home with more running space and more attention for him. He is in perfect health and has tons of energy for older kids or a walking companion.

Murphy is an affectionate meatball who likes to spend time with his toys & then sleep on your lap. He loves long walks—maybe because he always gets breakfast right after. He’s usually in no rush to get anywhere unless it’s time for a walk or car ride. He loves to wrestle, so if you have another dog, he’d be best with one who can match his play-energy. He’s house-trained & will always let you know when he needs you to open the door. At night, he knows it’s time to go out one last time & then wait for his bedtime treat. Murphy is about 5 years old & weighs 65lbs. He’s up-to-date on his shots, & has never had any medical issues. My ex & I adopted him when he was a year old, so I have all his records. As much as I adore him, caring for two dogs on my own is just not sustainable with my lifestyle; I travel, & work a lot, & the year ahead will be especially demanding. I sincerely hate to give him up, but I know he’ll be better off in a new loving home.
