Story
She was part of an unexpected litter and I agreed to take her at 3 months. She is now 3, her birthday is 12/30/22. The major issue is, she and my older dog cannot seem to get along. Unfortunately my older dog has been diagnosed with conjestive heart failure and I want his final time here to be more peaceful. When they fight he is the one that comes out hurt because she is larger. She does not have much experience with children but she has an anxious personality. I have been having health issues pretty much since I adopted her and she needs a place to be able to run and have fun. She currently weighs approximately 21 lbs. Frankly, she deserves a better home with someone who will love a cuddle bug and will like an active dog. Also, she does sleep in bed with me.

Story
This is Lucia. She came from a dog hoarding situation. She’s very sweet but, high energy. Her and my Scotty love to play and she LOVES her bones. She does need fed in a slow feeder because she eats like she is starving and she drinks just as fast. I have had her since early December and she has been fully vetted. She is working on house training and getting better everyday. She is in her kennel while I’m at work and never potties in there. She is quiet at night in her kennel as well. She would be better off somewhere where she can run to get out her energy. She still has a lot of puppy in her and needs a lot of consistency in her routine. I am sure with time and patience she will be a wonderful dog for the right home. I will pay for her spay if it’s not already done by the time she finds a home. She will come with all her things and plenty of food.

Story
Meet Max-Scherzer. Max for short. The first thing you will notice about him is his two different-colored eyes. In terms of other pets, He gives roommates a thumbs up. If Max were on a dating app, his pickup line would be, "Are you a pitcher? Because you're throwing strikes right into my heart." Max's favorite things are treats, walks, and water. If he were a dessert, he'd be a Ted Drewes Frozen Custard. Go Mizzou! You'd make a great team with Max if you love sports, exercise, and long walks.

Story
Mittens is a gentle and loving dog with a heart full of loyalty. She came from a rescue shelter, and while her past may have been uncertain, her future is full of potential with the right family. When you first meet Mittens, she may seem extremely shy and reserved. New environments and unfamiliar faces can make her a bit nervous, so she needs a patient adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe and comfortable. She’s the kind of dog who will follow you from room to room, happily keeping you company throughout the day. Her loyalty is unmatched, and she thrives in a calm, stable environment where she can continue to build her confidence. Mittens would do best in a home that understands shy or rescue dogs and is willing to work with her.
