Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Gracie was another one that came to us from an Arkansas Shelter basically at the same time as Adolfo.  She is another one that is severely underweight and heartworm possible.  On June 24th, 2024 she will be receiving one of two back to back injections for HW treatment, the second on the 25th.  In a month or went she get to be a healthy weight and under our Vets recommendation she will be spayed.  Gracie wishes to be the only pet in the home, there seems to be no negotiating on that front.  She requests the full attention of her humans.  On the plus side, she loves car rides and won't leave your side on or off leash.  If you believe you are the perfect match for our beautiful approximately 5 year old girl please go to our website at mastino-rescue-inc.org and complete a family profile.  You won't be disappointed with this girl. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 10:33 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Miss Anita found herself abandoned in her owners garage went they moved.  Several neighborhoods around her rallied to help her.  Finally, a couple took her in to try and get her the right home on social media.  When that didn't work they came to Mastino Rescue, Inc., to help and find her a home.  She has been spayed and on 8/13/24 she had her cherry eye surgery removal.  Anita is a great girl, loves her male foster but it took a couple days for her to warm up to her female foster.  She will need time to settle into a new home.  With slow introductions she started playing with her male foster Neo brother.  If you are looking for a beautiful tawny girl, have the time/patience for Anita please go to our website at Mastino-rescue-inc.org and complete a family profile.  Anita is being fostered in Arizona but to the perfect home transportation assistance can be provided.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 10:33 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our Royal Mastino, Livia, is doing well in her experienced foster home, but continues to dream of a family and home of her own.  Princess Livia (as she prefers to be called) is a fit 3 years old typical strong willed female Neapolitan Mastiff. She balances out her play time with heavily snoring napping. Preferably somewhere with a soft bed or thick blanket. Livia is housebroken and crate trained, though she will give you side-eye if the crate contains insufficient treats to lure her in. She is indeed a princess. Her ideal home would have a large male dog to play with and a fenced yard. Livia loves to patrol her yard snuffling and watching for anything new going on in her neighborhood. She is learning there is enough food and human attention in her foster homes so that she doesn't need to resource guard. She loves belly rubs, rump scratches and neck wrinkle massages and doesn't hesitate to request them from her favorite people. Due to her forward attitude and roughness Livia needs to be the ONLY PET in the household, NO EXCEPTIONS.  She is learning leash manners as she is very strong on the leash when distracted. Livia is a lovely girl that bonds quickly with whomever she claims as her person.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 17, 2025, 4:53 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Capri! Her story is one that is heard often. She and another dog in the home got into a fight which was initiated by the other dog and an 11-year-old attempted to step in and received puncture marks on the elbow, however no one is totally sure which dog grabbed the youth once and released as everything happened quickly. Capri will be 3 years old in January and has been very well taken care of. She is up to date on all vaccines, spayed and recently had cherry eye removal and entropion surgery. Crate trained, leash trained and has completed obedience training from 6 to 12 months old. Capri loves taking walks and spending time at the lake with her family. She is leery of dogs that are larger in size to her but has been around other dogs that she doesn’t live with. Although, one of her friends in the home is a rescue cat, this doesn’t mean she will get along with others. The family takes full responsibility as to what happened and are truly heartbroken. At this point they feel the best decision is to find her another home. We ask that negative comments be kept to yourselves and you put that effort into helping Capri. If you are the perfect person and environment for Capri please complete a family profile. Currently she is in Colorado, but transportation assistance can be arranged for the perfect forever.
