Barbosa: 95 Pounds of Personal Space? Never Heard of It.Hi. I'm Barbosa. Apparently I'm "big." I don't really see it. If I fit in your lap, I'm basically a lap dog... right? Sure, it might cut off circulation to your legs, but that's a you problem. At a perfectly portable 95 pounds, I'm actually very convenient. You don't have to bend over to pet me, and I make an excellent weighted blanket.I grew up in a home where I was loved, so I'm happiest when I'm hanging out with my people. If you're headed to another room, I'll probably come along—not because I need to, but because life is more fun together. Bathroom? I'll keep watch. Laundry? I'll offer moral support. Making a snack? Someone has to supervise. The good news? I'm already housebroken, have excellent indoor manners, and despite being tall enough to inspect your countertops, I don't help myself to your food. (I deserve a medal for that kind of self-control.) I know "sit" and "down," I love being brushed, and I'm always happy to earn a few extra belly rubs. When it's playtime, I'm all in! I'll zoom around with my foster sibling, chase toys, and generally act like a giant puppy. Then, without warning, I'll dramatically collapse onto the floor like a furry area rug that's given up on life. It's one of my signature moves.I have two speeds: "gentle giant" and "oops, I forgot I'm the size of a loveseat." That's why I'd do best with older kids who can handle a little accidental bump now and then. I get along with cats, don't need a fenced yard, and love a good walk. My leash manners are pretty good. I just occasionally like to cast my vote for walking about 3% faster. If you've been searching for a loyal best friend with zero understanding of personal space, endless love to give, and just enough goofiness to keep you laughing every day... congratulations. You found him.Now scoot over. I need your lap.--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
