River’s story began alongside his buddy Banks. The two were found abandoned, hungry, and out of luck near a creek — a pair of little castaways sticking together through it all. Thankfully those difficult days are behind him now, and River is ready to trade survival mode for the safe, loving life every puppy deserves.
With his goofy charm, affectionate nature, and bright enthusiasm, River is looking for a home that will embrace his playful heart and give him all the love he’s been missing. Whether he’s romping around, discovering new things, or curling up close after a day of adventures, River is happiest right by your side.
