He is currently being boarded in Missouri and is a VERY active and playful boy. He is believed to be 2 years old or younger. His wonderful boarding staff has put much needed weight on him. His perfect home would have a large 6 foot fenced yard and a sister fur sibling to play with! More specifically, a very active fur sister his size that loves to play like he does. He is very respectful and appropriate with the dogs he has meet. Hello folks: My name is Bandit and I am a 7 year 4 month old brindle, female, Neapolitan/ dogue de Bordeaux mix, and I am looking for my forever home, complete with forever hooman. I am what the hoomans here call “ large”, and can range from 61 to 100 lbs. Once I get used to someone, I am the biggest love bug ever! It does, however, take me a little time. You know how it is when you go to a new place. New place, new people. Even though the hoomans here describe me as being a real doll, I do better as a solo animal. I’m also looking for someone with no kids and who is an adopter with prior experience. My hooman also needs to be someone who is prepared to give me attention when I want it, but yet is experienced enough to give me space when I need it. Our Royal Mastino, Livia, is doing well in her experienced foster home, but continues to dream of a family and home of her own. Princess Livia (as she prefers to be called) is a fit 4-year-old typical strong willed female Neapolitan Mastiff. She balances out her play time with heavy snoring naps. Preferably somewhere with a soft bed or thick blanket. Livia is housebroken and crate trained, though she will give you side-eye if the crate contains insufficient treats to lure her in. She is indeed a princess. Her ideal home would have a large male dog to play with and a fenced yard. Livia loves to patrol her yard snuffling and watching for anything new going on in her neighborhood. She is learning there is enough food and human attention in her foster homes so that she doesn't need to resource guard. She loves belly rubs, rump scratches and neck wrinkle massages and doesn't hesitate to request them from her favorite people. Being brushed is a nice way to express your love to her, but Livia LOVES to be vacuumed! Due to her forward attitude and roughness Livia needs to be in a household with no cats and an only dog unless you are an experienced owner. Livia is learning leash manners as she is very strong on the leash when distracted. Livia is a lovely girl that bonds quickly with whomever she claims as her person. Her double cherry eye has been removed and spay completed, so she is set to find a loving foster home with someone experienced in caring for Neos. Several neighbors rallied around her to help her find a new home and family. A couple took her in to try and find her the right home on social media. That didn't work, so they reached out to Mastino Rescue, Inc., to help and find her a home. Anita has been spayed and on 8/13/24 she had her cherry eye surgery removal. Anita is a great girl, loves her previous male foster but it took a couple days for her to warm up to her previous female foster. She will need decompression time to settle into a new home successfully. After slow introductions, she did start playing with her male foster Neo brother when she was in Arizona. She was also severely underweight and heartworm positive. Gracie has successfully completed her heartworm treatment and has been spayed. Gracie wishes to be the only pet in the home and there seems to be no negotiating on that front from her. She requests the full attention of her humans. On the plus side, she loves car rides and won't leave your side whether she is on or off leash. She never disappoints!
