Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. SAWYER and his siblings (SKY & STUART) was saved by an independent rescuer. They came from a mom at a colony in the area South Los Angeles, California. Once the kittens were stable, the rescuer reached out to us. And now they are with our rescue. SAWYER gets comfortable very quickly and is curious about everything. He can get startled but will come back and investigate. He is still very shy. He comes running when it's time to get his can food. His purr box is very loud. SAWYER does not like to be picked up. He will need a very patient family. He's looking for his REAL FUREVER home. SAWYER and his sister SKY are identical!! SAWYER is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / RUSSIAN BLUE MIX. He is about 6 months old. He is good with cats and is non-reactive to dogs. He has never been around children. As stated on our application, we will not do adoptions of kittens under 8 months without a cat / kitten with enough energy to play with her in her new home.. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA, BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP********** MARCH 2024: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. Midnight is one of our feral barn cats that would love nothing more than to chase down those unwanted rodents! Midnight doesn't have a single friendly bone in her body and hates anything human. She'd do best on a property that doesn't need love, but needs a hunter!
