Kona is a beautiful five-and-a-half-year-old Anatolian Shepherd currently living in Glassell Park, CA, with a heart set on finding her perfect new family, wherever they may be. This spirited companion finds joy in the simple things – from chew toys and tennis balls to invigorating runs and cozy lounging. Her loyalty is unwavering, and she adores being close to her loved ones, content to follow them or relax nearby in a favorite chair. Kona’s perfect home would be a spacious, outdoor environment – ideally, acres of open land where she can fulfill her natural role as a guardian. Bred for protecting livestock, she has a keen instinct for surveying her surroundings and would thrive in a place where she can roam freely and keep an eye on her territory. Kona would be especially well-suited for a home where she could be a "guardian of the land," patrolling her space with purpose. In addition to space, Kona’s ideal family would be experienced with protective breeds. She needs a confident handler who can offer the firm, calm guidance she requires, especially in situations where she needs clear instruction. Though she may show territorial protectiveness at home, Kona is quite friendly in neutral spaces like boarding facilities, and she’s known for her gentle nature around children. Meet Bucky! He’s a one-year-old, 72-pound mixed breed pup with a gentle soul and a resilient spirit. Bucky was found abandoned in a junkyard, unable to care for himself, born without one front paw and only a small nub for the other leg. Despite everything he’s been through, Bucky is sweet, loving, and incredibly strong. He’s now safe in a foster home and finally learning what it means to feel loved and protected. Bucky enjoys cozy beds, calm company, and the safety of a quiet, predictable routine. While he still has a long road ahead, Bucky continues to show progress and surprises us every day with his bravery. He’ll do best in a patient, low-traffic home that can provide him with comfort, care, and encouragement as he adjusts. With the help of the amazing team at Two Hands Four Paws, we are assessing what medical resources Bucky will need. This boy this will have a longer road to achieving more mobility, but with patience, love and modern medicine we're hoping to make major improvements to his quality of life! RAYA BIO 11 months 56 lbs Anatolian Shepherd & Great Pyrenees mix spayed, utd on vaccines,  Good with dogs and kids. Neutral with cats but need more assessment.  BIO-  This sweet, beautiful and funny girl is still a pup! She is FANTASTIC. So easy going and fun. She is very loyal to humans and wants to belong. She listens. She goes with the flow and is ready to go on adventures or just chill with you on the couch if that is what you want to do. She loves treats and yummy food. She gets along with other dogs and loves to play with them. She walks easy on leash.  RAYA did have puppies at 9 months old. She was surrendered to us with her puppies by a senior citizen who had her as a puppy and could not longer care for her. She was the sweetest most loving dog mom to them. They all got adopted at 10 weeks old. We want RAYA to be seen and loved and appreciated for the wonderful dog that she is. PLEASE ask us to meet her or for an application. RAYA is in the Los Angeles area. A home visit and interview are required prior to adoption. ##2539047##
