Requires several intros, but worth every minute of your time. Once you build a connection with him he is the biggest cuddly marshmallow. He is estimated to be approximately 7 years young and still has so much energy and love to give. He walks wonderfully on a leash and loves a cold day for an adventure. If you're looking for a truly loyal companion Bernie would be your guy. He is up to date on all medical vaccinations and is neutered.

Story
Meet Daisy 🤍🐾 Daisy is a 2-year-old, 80-pound Anatolian Shepherd mix with a heart as big as she is. After narrowly escaping euthanasia when she wasn’t the right fit as a livestock guardian, she’s ready to leave that chapter behind and find a family who will love her simply for being Daisy. This gentle girl is house-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and can be trusted to roam the house without getting into trouble. She’s also a social butterfly who absolutely adores other dogs and would love a canine companion to spend her days with. One of Daisy’s sweetest quirks? She loves carrying her favorite blanket from room to room, proudly showing off her prized possession wherever she goes. It’s impossible not to smile watching her. Daisy is looking for: * 🤍 A loving family ready for a loyal companion * 🐶 A home with another dog would be a bonus * 🚫 A cat-free home * 🚶 Someone who enjoys leisurely walks with a well-mannered partner After everything she’s been through, Daisy deserves a second chance at the life she’s always wanted—a soft bed, a favorite blanket, and people who love her unconditionally. Could that be with you? ❤️ ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. Story
💙 Meet Duvall Duvall is a striking young Husky/Great Pyrenees mix with unforgettable blue eyes, a gorgeous blonde coat, and an even bigger personality. At just over two years old, he's intelligent, affectionate, athletic, and looking for a family that understands what it means to share life with an energetic working-breed dog. This handsome boy absolutely loves his people. Whether you're heading out for a hike, working in the yard, teaching him something new, or relaxing after a busy day, Duvall wants to be part of whatever you're doing. He's happiest when he has both a job to do and people to love. Like many young working breeds, Duvall isn't a dog who's content with a quick walk around the block. His ideal home will provide daily opportunities for physical exercise and mental enrichment. Long walks, hiking adventures, training sessions, puzzle toys, scent games, fetch, and structured play all help keep his active mind and body satisfied. When his needs are met, Duvall is an incredibly rewarding companion. Duvall also enjoys other dogs—but he's still polishing his social skills. His play style is enthusiastic, physical, and sometimes a bit overwhelming. He would do best with confident, well-socialized dogs his size or larger that enjoy active play and are comfortable setting appropriate canine boundaries. Any introductions to resident dogs should be done slowly and thoughtfully, allowing everyone time to adjust and build positive relationships. Rushing introductions or expecting instant friendships simply isn't fair to Duvall or his future canine companions. Because of his intelligence, energy, and size, Duvall is looking for adopters who are committed to continuing his training and helping him succeed. Consistency, structure, and positive reinforcement will go a long way with this eager-to-learn boy. Experience with working breeds is a plus, but more important is a willingness to invest the time and energy needed to help him thrive. A securely fenced yard would be wonderful, but it's not a substitute for exercise, enrichment, and engagement. Duvall is looking for a family that sees their dog as a true partner in life's adventures—not just a pet who spends most of the day entertaining himself. Duvall has already experienced more transitions than any young dog should. What he needs now is a family committed to giving him the time, patience, guidance, and outlets he deserves. In return, you'll gain a loyal, loving, intelligent companion who will happily join you on every adventure for years to come. If you're ready for an active, devoted best friend and understand the unique needs of a young working-breed dog, Duvall can't wait to meet you. 💙🐾 P.S. Duvall is eligible for our Foster-to-Adopt program, which means you can take some time to get to know him in your home before finalizing the adoption. It’s a great way to ensure the perfect fit! ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt.
