Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hi, I'm Lane. I am a three year old girl who has enough energy to power the entire state of NC. I've been at my foster mom's since I was 11 weeks old. I'm really good in my crate during the day while foster mom is at work. I sleep in my crate at night as well. I also express my opinion when I'm crated and something else is happening in the house. I have strong FOMO! I may not look it, but my foster mom.had my DNA tested and I am Great Pyrenees, along with some staffie and some pittie and cattle dog. These long legs like to run lots of zoomies around the yard. They also help me jump like a kangaroo. A high fence may be necessary to contain my excitement. I would do best in an active household, with no small kids and no small animals. I do have a strong herding instinct. My foster mom had a cat that I really like to put in my mouth. I don't think the cat appreciated it very much. But I find it a lot of fun. I don't have to be the only dog in the household, but the other dog should probably be my size or a little larger and most likely a male dog. I seem to get along best with them. No girl drama! I can also be very protective of my stuff - food and toys especially. I don't like sharing them with other dogs. I am also the BEST guard dog - maybe a little too good. I want to alert you that you just let a stranger in the house and I have to go into protector mode. I am still learning that not everyone is trying to sell us solar panels and I don't need to be so mean sounding to foster mom's guests. If you are a dog savvy family that is willing to work with training and help me become the best dog ever, please put in an application. I would love to find my forever home. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Leigha is an amazing girl! She walks on a leash. She loves to play. She is being exposed to small dogs, large dogs, children and cats. She has yet to use the bathroom in her fosters house. Shes a very submissive girl to everyone she meets. When she first arrived, she was very, very scared. I'm sure that stems from being abandoned after her home burned down. She was by herself more than 3 months waiting on the return of her owner, before she decided to venture out to find someone to help her. Leigha will be one of the most loving, loyal dogs you could have. Shes still a baby around a year to 2 years. But is and will be a big baby. Weighing 101 pounds now. She needs a fence in big yard to run and play. She would also do amazing on a farm, as that is what she was bred for. Keeping watch out over livestock. She is not a dog that would be able to live in an apartment. She needs to be at a home/farm that is owned by the homeowner. She will protect and love her new family like none other.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 25, 2024, 9:30 pm
