Born around December 3rd, 2025, Lyra is growing into a wonderful young pup who is ready to find the perfect family to call her own. With her soft fluffy coat and sweet, soulful eyes, it’s impossible not to fall in love with her. 🤍🐶 Lyra has the calm, loving nature that Great Pyrenees mixes are known for. She enjoys spending time with people, playing, and then settling in for some cozy cuddle time. She is good with other dogs and kids, making her a great companion for a family that is ready to welcome a loyal and affectionate pup into their home. Lyra is up to date on her shots and will be spayed when she reaches the appropriate age, which will be covered by the rescue at Auglaize Animal Hospital in Wapakoneta. Because Lyra is part Great Pyrenees, there will be adoption restrictions, and her adopter must have knowledge and understanding of the breed. Great Pyrenees are amazing, loyal dogs, but they do best with families who understand their unique traits, including their protective instincts, intelligence, and need for proper space, training, and guidance as they grow. With the right home, Lyra will grow into an incredibly devoted companion who will love and protect her family with her whole heart. Like many young Pyrenees, she is still blossoming into the majestic, loyal companion she was born to be — and she is going to make someone an absolutely incredible best friend. Freya will require a home with knowledge and experience with the Great Pyrenees breed. These beautiful dogs are intelligent, independent thinkers they are naturally protective, observant, and sometimes a little stubborn. But with understanding and proper guidance, they are unbelievably devoted and loving companions. Freya LOVES to play with other dogs and truly enjoys having canine friends. She would thrive in a home with another playful dog to romp around with. She does chase cats, so a cat-free home would be best for her. She walks nicely on a leash when using a harness and enjoys getting out to explore the world by your side. She is eating well and settling into routine beautifully. Now let’s talk about bedtime. 🥹 Freya will happily sleep by your bed all night long. She just wants to be near her people — close enough to know you’re safe, close enough to feel connected. That’s the Pyrenees loyalty shining through. One thing to know — she is not a fan of the crate and will let you know it by howling. Cleetus can be a little shy when meeting new people at first, but it doesn’t take him long to warm up. Once he does, his true personality shines through — and it’s pure sweetness! He quickly becomes a loving, loyal little shadow who enjoys attention and being close to his people. Like any young puppy, Cleetus is still learning the ropes. He’s working hard on his puppy pad training and is almost there! He’s also discovering that being brushed isn’t such a scary thing after all. With patience and gentle encouragement, he’s starting to relax and enjoy the attention that comes with grooming. Cleetus gets along well with other dogs and cats. He may still try to chase them from time to time — mostly because he thinks it’s a fun game — but he has no intention of hurting them. He’s just a playful pup figuring out the world around him.
