Story

We are looking to rehome our Newfoundland. He is a 3 year old black and white landseer. He was born 11/22/22 and weighs around 160lbs. He is up to date with shots and see’s the vet once a year or as needed. He is currently on flea, tick and heartworm. He is house and crate trained. He walks well on a leash and rarely pulls. He knows how to sit, stay, and lay down. He rides well in vehicles. He does not get up on furniture or beds unless asked to. Overall he truly is a good dog. But We have noticed an increase issue with his interaction with kids. We have three and he is ok with them. Our kids respect him and interact with him well. But he is uncomfortable with other kids. With my children having friends over more often. It has been harder to manage my anxiety around it. I think a person with no kids or a family with teenagers would be better for him. With a little time and patience he would make a great companion.

Story

Harley is the best dog. She is very affectionate and loves to be close to her humans. She loves to swim and even learned how to turn the shower on herself so we regularly find her in the bathroom trying to take a shower. The only reason we have to get rid of her if she does not get along with our two pugs.

Story

He is an incredibly sweet, loyal and loving dog who becomes very attached to his people. He loves to cuddle, be right beside you and currently sleeps next to my bed every night. He is fully potty trained and loves to play, run and get lots of attention. He is a very large, high-energy dog and gets extremely excited, especially when meeting new people. Because of his size and excitement, he can sometimes play a little rough, but he has never been aggressive. Extra care should be taken around very small children simply because he could accidentally knock them over. He does have some separation anxiety and prefers to be close to his people, so he would do best with someone who has plenty of time for him. We are rehoming him because we will be traveling quite a bit, and we feel he deserves a home where he can get the attention and companionship he needs. He has so much love to give and will make an incredibly loyal companion.
