Story
Bear is a 7 year old Great Pyrenees mix. He is a loving companion and very smart. He is excitable when guests come over but calms down quickly and is otherwise low-energy. We adopted him from a shelter when he was a puppy. He enjoys older kids but is unsure about toddlers and babies (he'll just walk away - not aggressive!). He is good with other dogs but likely wouldn't do well with cats. He knows quite a few tricks/commands.The perfect family for Bear would be one that will walk, brush, and groom him regularly, has a house/yard with plenty of space for a big dog, and will give him lots of pets and snuggles.In our current stage of life, financial state, and other responsibilities, we no longer have the means, time, or space to provide Bear with the home he deserves. It's not a decision we take lightly, but it is best for our family and for Bear so that he can have the best life possible.
