Story
Hank is a super affectionate and loving boy who currently lives with his 3 kitty siblings who he loves to try and play with, but usually ends up just snuggling. He’s never been around kids, but we don’t believe he’d be any sort of bother to them. He has not had any dog siblings, but loves to talk to his neighbor buddies through the chain link fence and when dogs have jumped our fence he’s never shown aggression towards them, just curiosity. Anytime he hears a siren, Hank has to prove he can match that energy! Hank loves to chew on his toys, and if you give him bones filled with apple or peanut butter, you’ll have made a new friend. He is fully houstrained, and he has some crate training. He hasn’t stayed in the crate long periods of time as we have a remote job that allows us to be home with him, but we think he’d do well after some training with it. Overall, Hank is a good boy who just needs someone who’s willing to give him the time and energy a big dog needs.

Story
This super sweet girl is Tiana! Tiana is an approximately 1-year old female Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix who weighs around 50 lbs. Tiana is an all around great dog! She attaches to her human companion super quickly. Unfortunately, she has been bounced around from homes to boarding so she will take time and patience letting her settle into a new home. It took three weeks in her current foster home for her to eat a full meal. With this, she can be extremely shy with new dogs as well. She is very dog friendly, but will need a knowledgeable adopter that can properly integrate her into a home with dogs. Her issue is that she shuts down if other dogs come on too strong which can then cause bad reactions from the other dogs. In her current foster home she plays with dogs of all sizes and ages and does great with everyone. Let’s talk Tiana and cats, phew! Initially in her foster home she chased the cats - not to hurt them at all because Tiana doesn’t have a mean bone in her body, but she wanted to play and the chase was a fun little game for her (not the cats). After a couple weeks of correction she no longer pays any attention to the cats - maybe because she warmed up to the other dogs and is playing with them or maybe because she understands now that cats don’t like to be terrorized! What we don’t know is if she will try the same thing in a new home with cats or if she’s fully over her cat shenanigans. If an adopter has cats, they need to be accustomed to dogs and adopters need to understand they may have to correct Tiana initially knowing she is quick to learn the boundaries. Tiana would do great as an only dog or with dog friends, but adopters need to introduce her to resident dogs properly so she isn’t too scared. A single dog home with only cats will not work for her because she is playful and she will want to play with the cats which may not go well. Tiana isn’t super rambunctious, and while she hasn’t been in a home with children she should do great with kids of any ages - she’s a people dog that absolutely LOVES her humans! Tiana deserves a home to call forever and we are determined to find that for her! This sweet girl has so much to offer a family and we can’t wait to celebrate her happy ending! Tiana is crate and house trained, but will need continued assistance as she becomes confident on a leash. She is spayed, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225. HOME CHECK AND SECURELY FENCED BACKYARD ARE REQUIREMENTS TO ADOPT! To adopt Tiana, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply.

Story
Bogey is such a sweet boy and learning so fast. He loves to be baby talked to and loved on. He loves other dogs especially his two sisters. He’s good with other dogs but has not been around cats. He gets his feelings hurt easily and it’s cute and sad at the same time lol he’s growing fast so he’s a bit clumsy. He and his sisters very calm for being 8 months old. He’s neutered, chipped and has all his shots. I can’t stress enough that he really needs another dog, I honestly don’t think he would do well otherwise. He’s very attached to his sisters, even more so than they are to him. He’s a good puppy and I truly believe he will be a great dog ##2158701##

Story
Ranger. We finally settled on our little fosters name. It suits him to a T. [Ranger is a baby boy name of French and English origin. Meaning "forest guardian," this baby name feels and sounds distinctly magical. Not only is a ranger a cool title for the protectors of nature, but they also represent strength, knowledge, and bravery as protectors of people, too!] Went to wrestling dual last night with us and sat in his own chair the entire time. Snoozed a bit. Socialized with those that came to him. Observed and chilled. He’s practically perfect. Such a great puppy. Has integrated perfectly with our broad range of fur babes & humans AND plays well alone too. He enjoys snuggles, playtime & sunning. He’s been so successful with potty training but still needing work since he is still a little babe. He has such a calm demeanor and surprises all who come in contact with him. He has met kids young and old and loves them too. Would make a wonderful companion for a family with kids ##2247188##

Story
Hi! I’m Elsa! I’m a young Great Pyrenees puppy who has lots of energy and loves to run and play! I’m crate trained and I’m working on being house broke, I’ve almost got it down, I just get too excited and lose focus. I know how to sit on command, I walk on leash, and I love to work and use my brain to figure puzzles out. I have great potential to train for a spot in the service/ search and rescue dog community. My foster mom has been training me like she trains her service dogs. My favorite thing to do is cuddle with my foster mom. I love to eat snacks and play with squeaky toys. I love to howl and carry on a conversation with my people! If you are looking for a loyal friend to be by your side and love you unconditionally, I think I’d be the perfect addition to your family!     ##2247191##
