Story
Millie came from a Newfie breeder that had a female get out of the yard while in heat for about 30 minutes. She bred her to another Newfie but when the pups were born something wasn't right. She DNA tested her and she has golden retriever and bloodhound in her as well as newfie. So she turned to us for help placing them in loving homes. We still have 3 girls available and they were born on Feb 19. Millie has the most perfect eyes! And she is definitely a poser. She can be prissy but she can also play hard! She also loves the water. If you are looking for a gentle giant that loves affection and water, Millie is your girl. She is UTD on all required vaccines and is microchipped. Story
Harold is a neutered 5 year old half Newfoundland and half Bernese Mountain Dog mix. He is amazingly friendly and loves all people (including children). He is great with other dogs and has been fine around small animals in cages. He has never been around cats, and he has chased after loose chickens in a yard. Harold is house broken and knows (and follows) all basic commands and he loves car rides. He is up to date on all vaccinations and just had his annual vet checkup last month. Our whole family loves Harold very, very much, but he would do better in a house that can give him more physical activity and attention than he is currently getting since I am getting older and even taking him for walks has become quite difficult. I recently had a knee replacement and cannot give Harold the exercise that he deserves.

✨Meet Brownie!✨ Brownie is a Newfoundland who came into us as a surrender from a commercial breeding facility (aka Puppy Mill) in Lancaster County. We are confident he will make a wonderful family member for a very lucky family, who understands his past and gives him the time he needs to trust them and his new surroundings. Brownie loves other animals, and will thrive in a home with at least one other dog. Adopting a puppy mill survivor is life-changing—for you and them. For these dogs, everything is new and often overwhelming: people, houses, stairs, leashes, food bowls, collars, toys, TVs, ovens, doorways, pavement…the list goes on. They need adopters who can move slowly, be patient, keep expectations reasonable, and provide the understanding and tools they need to grow into happy, confident companions. Patience, positive reinforcement, and understanding are key! We promise there is nothing that compares to gaining the love and trust of a puppy mill survivor, but it requires intentional effort and commitment from their new family. With the right guidance, puppy mill survivors can blossom into well-socialized, joyful dog- so our goal is always to ensure every adopter is fully prepared to give them the life and environment they need to truly thrive! Story
We have had our sweet Tutter since she was an 8 week old puppy. She is a very outgoing and playful dog who needs attention and stimulation. When we got her we selected her breed for their calm, couch potato demeanor but Tutter is nothing like that. She wants to run and romp and unfortunately we do not have the time or space to meet her needs. Her current home has another senior dog, two cats, and a toddler all of whom she gets along with without issue. We truly love and and just want to see her in a home where she can thrive.
