Story
Millie came from a Newfie breeder that had a female get out of the yard while in heat for about 30 minutes. She bred her to another Newfie but when the pups were born something wasn't right. She DNA tested her and she has golden retriever and bloodhound in her as well as newfie. So she turned to us for help placing them in loving homes. We still have 3 girls available and they were born on Feb 19. Millie has the most perfect eyes! And she is definitely a poser. She can be prissy but she can also play hard! She also loves the water. If you are looking for a gentle giant that loves affection and water, Millie is your girl. She is UTD on all required vaccines and is microchipped. Moose is looking for a local large breed dog lover near Philadelphia and surrounding areas. He would love to be your one and only so he gets all of your attention but he does do well with dog friends if introduced slowly and properly. Cats? Maybe one and slow intros? He would need time to adjust . He does well with his other foster friends. He would be good with all humans and older kids willing to be basic training for manners. He is a 3 year old male Newfoundland pup! Pa Kennel License 07735

Story
We have had our sweet Tutter since she was an 8 week old puppy. She is a very outgoing and playful dog who needs attention and stimulation. When we got her we selected her breed for their calm, couch potato demeanor but Tutter is nothing like that. She wants to run and romp and unfortunately we do not have the time or space to meet her needs. Her current home has another senior dog, two cats, and a toddler all of whom she gets along with without issue. We truly love and and just want to see her in a home where she can thrive.

Story
Hey everyone, my name is Saige! I'm new to Chestnut Hill and I'd love to meet you! I'm still a pup with a lot to learn about the world, but I've previously lived harmoniously with children and can't wait to join my new family. Per dog walking volunteer: "She is such a sweet pup, knows sit and down pretty well, walks well on loose leash, doesn't really pull. She is not very interested in treats, but will take them very gently. We saw some people playing frisbee in the park, she looked intrigued, but I told her we can only watch from a distance, she was very nice and listened. She gets scared of certain black trash bags, but even so she just simply walks away. She is just a sweet girl, hope she can find a good home soon!" Saige is so good on walks!: https://youtube.com/shorts/3RXVuzryo1Y?feature=share

Story
The petite, poop-eating countersurfing shoe chewing fully vetted crate trained highly photogenic 9 month old female Bernese Mountain Dog puppy is ready for adoption. Naughty (naw tee) adjective def: 1. misbehaved, often referring to a child or pet 2. typical Berner puppy on a daily basis. Non-negotiables: fenced yard, another dog as role model/playmate, limited crate time during the day. People who understand the Berner personality and are willing to work with a dog who was undersocialized during her first 6 months and will need time to adjust would be ideal. She sleeps happily in her crate overnight, but is not a fan of much crate time during the day, so someone who is home during the day and who has a friendly medium to large-sized dog who loves to play would be perfect. Housebroken when taken out regularly, but regression can happen in new situations. Fully vetted including spay, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Currently weighs just under 50lbs. Will fill out slightly, but would expect her to max out at no more than 60lbs. If she weighs more than that, she's convinced you to overfeed her... Her name is Waverly and she comes when called. We have cleverly (annoyingly?) forced you to read this far to know the name of the dog whose photo captured your attention. If you live within a 2 hour radius of the Lancaster area and think that you would be a good fit, please fill out an application on our website: http://www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoe's House Rescue Kennel License 9117 Sinking Spring, PA 19608

Story
Oreo has become our Starr🌟 This beautiful 3 y/o girl came to us from a commercial breeder and is said to be a minibernadoodle although we recognize the Australian Shepherd similarities 🤷🏻‍♀️ She is about 32 pounds. She began her rescue journey in a foster home where a young girl named her Oreo based on her gorgeous coloring. After about three months, her foster mom recognized that their household was too busy for this baby and she wasn’t progressing as well as she could. Oreo moved to her current foster home where she became our Starr 🌟 Starr has made great strides in the last two months. She walks beautifully on a leash and seems to need her human to lead the way. She enjoys the company of other playful, confident dogs; a confident resident dog/s is required in her forever home to continue to show Starr how to be a well-loved member of the family. Starr loves stuffies, bones and food😋 It’s just humans where she needs the convincing 🙃 Starr needs a confident pack leader who is calm and steady. She startles at loud noises and quick movements, and so a quieter, less busy home is ideal. While Starr is always close by to her foster mom, and wants to be in the mix, she shies away from direct eye contact and is still learning that humans can be gentle. She is reluctant to be pet but she will allow it, and even seems to enjoy it. She is just apprehensive and needs to be reassured that she is safe. She has the most beautiful, expressive eyes and they will talk to you if you listen 😉💗 Starr is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night. House-training is a work in progress and the safer Starr feels outside, the better she gets. Starr is looking for a quiet home with structure and routine and a family that will allow her to grow at her own pace with gentle encouragement. Starr has been spayed, microchipped and is up to date with vaccines and preventatives. She is prescribed medication to alleviate her anxiety which should be continued in her forever home until a doctor says otherwise. She is being fostered in Collegeville, Montgomery County. A meet and greet with all family members, including furry friends, and a home visit are part of the application process. If you’re up for the challenge of winning this girl’s trust and heart, apply at www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoe’s House Rescue Kennel License 9117 Sinking Spring, PA
