Story
Meet Orson, an easy going, sweet-natured giant looking for his forever retirement home. This gentle soul is a male Newfoundland mix that currently weighs 71 lbs. When Orson arrived at the rescue as a stray he was significantly underweight , dirty, matted , and suffering from painful, chronic ear infections in both ears. Yet, despite the neglect he endured, Orson's resilient, loving spirit never wavered. Orson enjoys relaxed walks and taking his time snooping around big yards. He appears to have a soft spot for respectful children and thouroughly enjoys their company. Likely due to chronic ear infections, Orson appears to be deaf. However he does not let that slow him down. He is highly observant and responds to hand gestures/visual cues. Orson is ready to learn what it feels like to be truly cherished. He is looking for a patient forever familywho will give him the comfortable, love filled life he always deserved. Orson is neutered & current on vaccines.
