Story
Barbie is an energetic bundle of joy that loves to watch over the yard and chew on sticks or antlers. She's house trained and crate trained. She loves food and is very excited at every meal. She loves playing with other dogs (sometimes almost too much). Her foster brother, a 5 year old lab mix, has never slept more soundly. After all the playing she also sleeps hard and enjoys a mid day nap (who doesn't?). She would love a home with a fenced in yard and ideally another pup that can match her love of the outdoors and playing. If you are interested in Meeting this wonderful girl. please contact Sandy or The Great Pyrenees Club of Western Pennsylvania Rescue - thur www.swpapyr.org, or respond by e-mail - She'll will LOVE you for it! We will also need you to fill out our adoption survey - We will need an above ground secure fence for safe play and exercise. We are looking for homes in the surrounding Pittsburgh area. Story
Meet Handsome Fritz, He is about 7 years old, and has just completed his heartworm treatment. Fritz is up to date on shots, and doing wonderfully. He Fritz is great with kids. Fritz is a sweet, smart dog who is going to be the love of someone's life. He adores people and getting pets and will do just about anything in order to get your attention and get some belly rubs from you. He is extremely loyal and promises to devote his whole heart and soul to his people. Fritz will need some help with leash manners.. He is very excited to join you on excursions, but clueless as to what to do when you place him on the end of a leash -. He loves pummeling piles of leaves and we suspect he is going to absolutely adore snowfall when that time of year comes. Handsome Fritz is up to date on shots, Neutered and Microchipped...and just waiting to meet you . Story
Meet handsome Buddy, he is 7 years old.… Buddy is calm, and friendly. He is initially a tad nervous and would benefit from a family that has love and patience to give him. He is gentle with his treats and not very demanding of your time. Buddy came from a situation where his owner passed away - but even in life, Buddy was left to his own devices… he is now learning what it’s like to be part of a family, and enjoying the interactions. A calm home where he can be a couch potato would suit him just fine. Kids over 10-12 who know proper dog etiquette, Buddy would adore that. Buddy does need to make up for all the love he lost out on, so that’s only fair - we’re hopeful that in his later years we can find someone to offer him the loving companionship that he has been looking for.. Buddy will be an amazing addition to a family that gives him some time to come out of his shell and has a low key, calm household. He will be a super easy dog who would demand nothing more than a soft bed, two square meals and humans who love and adore her like he deserves. If you are interested in Meeting this wonderful boy.. please contact Sandy or The Great Pyrenees Club of Western Pennsylvania Rescue - thur www.swpapyr.org, or respond by e-mail - Buddy will LOVE you for it! We will also need you to fill out our adoption survey - Buddy will need an above ground fence for safe play and exercise. We are looking for homes in the surrounding Pittsburgh area.
