Story
Hi there. I’m Ray. The vet says I’m a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix but my foster mom says I am a Ray of sunshine...especially when I smile! I’m between 2-3 years old, neutered, and weigh around 80 lbs. I’m currently up to date on my vaccinations.   My foster family says I’m a big, lovable teddy bear. I love to hang out with people and my doggy sibling and watch whatever they do. I came from a not so great situation where I was tethered outside, so being inside of a house is new to me and I’m still adjusting to all the smells and sounds. I love to spend my day looking out windows and watching birds! I also think squeaky toys are so much fun!    My foster family says I'm a fast learner, and I'm doing well with leash walking, potty training, and crate training. I respond well to positive reinforcement and love hearing what a Good Boy I am! My foster family says with a little patience and continued training, I will succeed!    Because of my size, I would do best in a home with older children. Sometimes I get playful and I don’t want to knock over anyone smaller than I am.  Since the first part of my life was spent tied up, I'd do well in a fenced in yard where I could run, play, and lay in the sunshine. It would keep me safe as well because I sometimes like to chase small animals, like squirrels and rabbits or cars down the street. I like other so doggie playmates, but do not get along with kitties.    If you have any questions, my foster family would be happy to answer them. I would love to be your ray of sunshine in my furever home!   I an available for adoption on March 25, 2025 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA 15144. KL #16182 ##2343732##

Story
Jovi is a sweetheart and is very affectionate. She's a loving companion and would enjoy curling up on the couch or going on walks. She'd love a family that can give her the time and attention she deserves. Jovi has a lot of energy and would love to go on runs with her future adopted family. Jovi does well with other dogs and cats, but she is kinda bossy, so maybe a male dog would be a preferred companion. She's a young girl, so she's got plenty of energy and lots of love to give. If you're looking for a new fur baby, come and meet Jovi! Jovi is up to date on shots, and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting this wonderful, beautiful girl, please contact Sandy or The Great Pyrenees Club of Western Pennsylvania Rescue through www.swpapyr.org, or email. We will also need you to fill out our adoption survey. Jovi will need an above-ground fence for safe play and exercise. We are looking for homes in the surrounding Pittsburgh area. For more information, please contact Great Pyrenees Club of Western Pennsylvania Rescue, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, by sending an email to lapyr5@live.com. Personality traits --

Story
Play. Chew. Sleep. Repeat. Poppy embodies everything puppy! She adores romping around with her foster siblings and learns quickly from their example. Whether it’s sitting patiently at the door before heading outside, enthusiastically digging holes once she’s out there, or waiting for neighborly pets and visits, Poppy relies on her big-dog mentors to guide her before confidently taking the leap into adventure. As an intelligent and spirited pup, Poppy needs a home that will nurture both her active mind and playful energy. Without adequate mental and physical stimulation, she may find her own amusements—like turning you into a human chew toy or scattering your shoes around the house! When it comes to cats, Poppy sees them as potential playmates, so only dog-savvy felines will be able to keep up with her puppy antics. If you are interested in Meeting this wonderful - beautiful girl .. please contact Sandy or The Great Pyrenees Club of Western Pennsylvania Rescue - thur www.swpapyr.org, or respond by e-mail - Poppy will LOVE you for it!
