Born around March 11, 2025, this little guy weighs just 11.5 pounds—but he’s packed full of sweetness and love. Muffin is a total love bug who just wants to be close to his people. Muffin came from a hoarding situation where he was living with 29 other dogs. Because of that, he’s still learning about the big world and what it means to be a cherished companion. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but the moment you offer him a little kindness and attention, he warms up quickly and happily soaks up the love. He’s still working on his leash skills and hasn’t quite mastered walking on one yet—right now he much prefers being carried like the little prince he is! Milo came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so life hasn’t always been easy for him. Because of that, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him gently and offer slow, reassuring pets, you’ll see his guard melt away—and that’s when his affectionate side shines through. Sadly, Milo did not receive heartworm prevention earlier in life and tested heartworm positive. The good news is that he has already been treated and is doing well! I started out as a stray and ended up at a city shelter. So when I first came to rescue, I was nervous and wasn’t sure about people. Now I’ve figured out that people are actually pretty great — especially the ones with laps. I am not shy as I once used to be. I love meeting everyone, I jump out of excitement, love to give kisses, and lots of happy barks. Due to my energy and playful bites, older considerate kids may be best for me. I love other dogs, toys, and getting excited enough to jump on you. I’m working on that part though. I may need help on some basic training as well, like potty training.  I’m neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, 4DX negative, and on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. My adoption fee is $400. Thankfully, kind people brought me to safety, and now I’m ready to find a forever home where I’ll never have to wonder where I belong again. I was born around 5/6/2025 and weigh about 20 pounds — just the perfect size to tag along wherever you go. I absolutely adore people and always want to be close to my humans. If you’re sitting down, there’s a good chance I’ll want to sit nearby too. I’m a very loving girl with a gentle personality. I can be a little jumpy at times, so older kids would probably be best for me. I also seem to be pretty quiet overall and don’t spend my time barking in my kennel. I’m mostly potty trained, though like any dog, I may need a little patience and consistency while adjusting to a new home and routine. One important thing to know about me: I am a fence climber, so I will need a secure, properly fenced backyard to keep me safe. I’m curious and adventurous.
