Story
Friskey is a petite fluffball with gorgeous eyes and non-stop social conversation. She has a variety of chirps, mews, trills and calls and will answer you each time you speak directly to her. She is a little hand-shy in the beginning but she loves pets once comfortable and will arch her back into you hand just to get one. Friskey has a lot of energy and is very playful with other friendly cats. Currently she has three "boyfriends" who are her best pals and she gets along ok with another small female. Friskey has been known to barrel down a hallway at high speed and crash into a closing door if she doesn't want you to get away. She loves to rub against your legs and asks nicely for you to pet her. Friskey would do best in a house with another slightly older male cat, no young kids, and lots of windows to look out. She is an indoor only cat. She has been spayed, microchippled, deflead, dewormed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and had her annual shots. An application, landlord approval if renting, virtual safety homecheck, and an adoption fee are required. Discount to seniors, military/veterans, and with proof of disability.

Story
Who has a big heart and a big cat safe yard or catio? This is Simon (aka Rebel) who was once a free roaming semi-feral being cared for by a feeder in Eureka. One day he was horribly injured. The injury was a massive bite wound through one of his eyes and into his head. It got infected. Concerned neighbors saw him, bloody and covered in wounds. They posted about him, and with their help two rescues banded together and got him vet care. First, he was treated for the infection. Once recovered, his eye was removed and he was neutered, got his shots and was tested. He tested FIV positive. After recovering from that surgery he is now looking for a soft place to land. He is such an amazing survivor. He submitted to all sorts of medication, confinement and treatments. He is pettable and not aftaid of people. However, he is not a lap cat or a cuddler at this point. The vet thinks he is about 7-8 years old. Is there someone somewhere who would give this miracle boy a safe and soft landing? Additional photos in the comments. Some may difficult for some people to view. Just remember, he lived it, and came through it ?? Simon needs to be the only cat or have maybe one other independent cat that can live harmoniously without becoming a friend. His life has been rough but he has the capacity to bond to his caregiver. He will be truly beautiful once he has completely healed and all his shaved fur grow back. He really cannot return to living on the streets but likes the outdoor atmosphere. He also likes regular food and does best on a feeding schedule. The vet felt he needed to gain 2-3 pounds to be at his best weight. Simon really deserves a place to live out the rest of his life in peace and safety. Adoption fee is negotiable for the right adopter.

Story
Shaggy is a gorgeous pile of floof and has a huge personality. He likes being the center of attention and has many adorable ways of getting that attention. He has spent his early life as an indoor/outdoor cat so make need lots to keep him busy indoors. A busy family of older kids would be his perfect place. He would do well with adults too, especially if there was a catio to play in. Shaggy gets along well with other cats and has experience with mid sized dogs. He would probably be comfortable with a lower energy dog. He has been deflead, dewormed, microchipped, tested for FeLV/FIV, and is up to date with his shots. An application, landlord approval if renting, safety home check, and an adoption fee are required. Discount to seniors, military/veterans, with proof of disability, and adopting multiples.
