Story
Raja is the sweetest, most loving cat I've ever known. She is brave, curious, and gentle. Extremely well behaved, doesn't even jump up on the kitchen counters. Sadly we are relocating and cannot take her with us, it breaks my heart because she is a part of the family. She needs a loving home where she gets lots of pets, regular brushing, and freedom to venture in and out of the house. She is litterbox trained but also goes outside. She is good with dogs after she gets familiar with them. She is good with little kids, but has not lived with other cats. She is about 7 years old. We are looking for a kind, loving forever home for her.

Story
Clarence just wants to stare out a window at the birds, snuggle under the blankets for a good cuddle, and find cozy hiding spots to take a nap. He is 11 years old, interacts well with other cats (after an adjustment period), and likes his food bowl to be full overnight. He's been stressed lately and has taken to scratching himself silly. Cliping his claws helps with that, but he doesn't really like the experience. He needs a place that is quiet and chill, ideally either alone or with one or two other cats max. He's never interacted with children or dogs, so I would hope you would have neither. A large window he can look out of is also a plus. He is very smart and not shy about meowing to let you know when he needs something. Mostly it's pets, food, or for you to open a specific door. He's been my best friend since he was a kitten. He's been there for me for every hardship I faced. It destroys me to have to find him a new home now. He truly is a fantastic cat.

Story
Willow is Sponsored by Baby Mia.Meet Willow 🌿Willow is a clever, independent lady with a calm presence and a thoughtful way of moving through the world. She enjoys observing her surroundings, choosing her friends carefully, and soaking up affection on her own terms. She may do well with certain cats, but she’s selective and appreciates having her own space to decompress.Willow has Idiopathic Cystitis (FLUTD), a manageable condition that simply means she needs a bit of daily and monthly support to stay comfortable and healthy. She receives monthly Adequan injections and takes a daily Zylkene capsule sprinkled on her food—both of which she handles like a champ. Her care routine is straightforward and has been helping her feel her best.Despite her medical needs, Willow is a wonderful companion who enjoys gentle pets, soft voices, and a predictable, loving environment. She’s not demanding, but when she chooses you, her quiet affection is incredibly rewarding. If you’re someone who respects boundaries, appreciates a smart and sensitive cat, and doesn’t mind helping with a simple care routine, Willow could be a truly special addition to your home. 🐾If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Winter Hours). If you’d like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets’ profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment.
