Story
Meet Murphy, a golden retriever mix with a gentle disposition who likes to softly lean into you when he’s being petted.  Murphy is also gently leaning into his new life in a foster home after being dumped on a rural road with his sister Ginger, brother Miller and another unrelated puppy. The pups were on their own for a few days before animal control collected them.  Murphy is of course very enthusiastic about food. He and his siblings ate themselves silly after being picked up by animal control, so much so that they thought his sister was pregnant. Murphy’s food drive will make him very easy to train. He has picked up on crate training and potty training within a couple days of being at his foster home.  Murphy is approximately 6-8 months old and weighs about 30 lbs. He’s likely a golden retriever mix — he has the most soft and fluffy golden coat. Murphy will likely be around 50 lbs, give or take, when full grown — a nice medium size.  Murphy is currently coming out of his shell and learning the joys of being a dog in his foster home. He can be shy at first, but that quickly melts away with one pet. We think the perfect home for Murphy. We prefer for Murphy to have another canine companion in his forever home. to help show him the ropes of how wonderful life can be. Murphy is looking for a loving forever home that can to continue to help him blossom.
