WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾💙 Meet Oakley — Tiny, Mighty, and Full of Puppy Chaos 💙🐾 Oakley is a 5-week-old, 5-pound bundle of pure puppy energy who will be ready for his forever home in just a few short weeks. This little guy is already practicing his zoomies, perfecting his pounce, and mastering the art of stealing hearts (and shoelaces). When fully grown we're guessing he should be a fantastic medium size just pawfect for joining in ALL your life adventures from the daily mundane to your weekend exciting!! Oakley is your classic happy-go-lucky puppy: playful, curious, social, and always up for whatever fun is happening next. He’s great with the other pups in his foster home and, with proper introductions, should do just fine with cats too. He loves people and is always excited to make new friends — just remember, he comes equipped with tiny razor teeth and enthusiastic puppy nails, because… well… puppy. 😄 He’s currently up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and will be neutered before leaving the rescue, so he’ll be all set for his next big adventure: becoming someone’s very best friend. Oakley’s hobbies include: 🐾 Wrestling with his foster siblings 🐾 Playing until he flops over mid-zoomie 🐾 Giving surprise puppy kisses 🐾 Investigating EVERYTHING 🐾 Being ridiculously cute 24/7 He’s looking for a family ready for all the wonderful chaos that comes with raising a puppy — training, laughter, chewed toys (maybe trying to sneak in a shoe too!), and lots of love. Meet Izzy – A Heart of Gold in Every Way Izzy is a breathtaking 2-year-old red Golden Retriever with a soft, silky coat, kind soulful eyes, and the gentle spirit the breed is so beloved for. She weighs around 55 lbs and is the definition of sweetness—trusting, loving, and eager to be near her people. Izzu is currently located in Houston, TX, but is available for adoption directly from transport in the Greater Seattle area. As a puppy, Izzy was given as a Christmas gift to two young children by a man who would later become violent. This man used Izzy as a tool of fear and control, threatening to hurt her in front of the children to silence them, and even assaulting their mother when she tried to protect her sweet pup. Thankfully, the mother bravely escaped and got her family to safety, with their abuser behind bars. Out of deep love for Izzy, she made the heartbreaking decision to rehome her so Izzy could have a chance at the peaceful, loving life she deserves. Izzy is now ready for the next chapter of her new life. Izzy has been in foster care in Houston, Texas for several months and is quite a remarkable pup. She is gentle, sweet, kind and has learned to trust and love humans. In her foster home, Izzy has flourished into the gentle, affectionate girl she was always meant to be. She is fully potty trained, house trained, and has excellent indoor manners. Izzy is fantastic with dogs, respectful with cats, and very sweet with children. She shows no lingering signs of trauma—only gratitude, loyalty, and a big heart full of love. , Izzy can be guarded around unfamiliar males at first, but is won over easily with a soft approach, treats and praise. This girl is all love, and is looking for the perfect family to spoil her and love her for the rest of her days. In return, Izzy will return all the love and companionship to your family as a loyal family member. Izzy is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed, and current on flea and heartworm prevention. She’s in excellent health and ready for a fresh start. Whether you’re a family, a couple, or a solo adopter, Izzy will be the perfect calm, loving companion to share your life with. **Adoption Requirements:** All potential adopters must complete a pre-adoption interview, submit a veterinary reference, provide personal references, and submit home check photos prior to approval.
