MEET REBEL- Rebel came to us after being in a house fire with his family who promptly surrendered him to the rescue. We don’t have much information about this tiny guy since the owners just didn’t respond to any of our texts once surrendered. He has been through a lot, he is a grumpy lil fella. He had gotten considerably better and lets us hold him. He loves his meal times but don’t interrupt him while he is eating or the gremlin comes out. He seems fine with other dogs, indifferent to cats and fairly independent. He will come to me after hanging out outside on an enclosed porch for a while. Rebel is a dog that will need a patient parent that can give him the time he needs to recover from his abandonment. We’re not sure of his age. We were told he was 4 years but we believe he’s a young senior. Rebel is looking for a forever home where he can enjoy his life without fear of abandonment. This sweet girl is the definition of cuddly and people-focused. She loves to play, but she loves being with her humans even more. Mabel is gentle, social, and does beautifully with people of all ages, making her a wonderful family companion. She is already leash trained and enjoys getting out for walks, then happily settling in for snuggle time. Mabel has a calm, easygoing personality and a soft, affectionate nature that makes her incredibly easy to love.
