Hi, I’m Harvey! I’m a 3-year-old, 14-pound Papillon mix boy, and I promise you — I’ve got the energy of a dog twice my size. I’m playful, active, and absolutely obsessed with my toys (bring on the squeakers!). I also happen to be a very enthusiastic eater, so I’ll be your best friend at snack time. I walk nicely on a leash and love hanging out with other dogs — a canine sidekick just makes everything more fun. I do take a little time to get comfortable in new situations, so patience while I settle in goes a long way. I’d probably do best with older, dog-savvy kids who know how to play gently with a small guy like me. My house manners are pretty good, though I may need a quick house training refresher once I move into my new home. Hello- my name is Fabio! I came to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue with two other dogs from an overcrowded municipal animal shelter. At the rescue I received the medical and general care I needed to be ready for a forever family! I am estimated at around a year old, last weighed in at around 12 lbs and look to be a Pomeranian/Papillon mix, best guess.. I am quite friendly and typically get along with other dogs-meet and greet with existing family dogs first is always recommended. My friends at the rescue have been helping me to learn to walk on a leash, but I'll need to continue working on that with my new family. Hi, I'm looking for my forever family! I was recently surrendered along with 15 other dogs when our previous owners became overwhelmed. None of us had been spayed or neutered, and we ended up at the shelter before the wonderful team at PLAY! K9 Rescue stepped in to give us a second chance. I'm a sweet, shy, and affectionate little boy. I’m taking a little bit longer than my other two friends but I am a lover boy when I get there. If you're looking for a devoted companion who wants to be your shadow, I might be the perfect match! I get along well with other dogs, cats, and kids, making me a great addition to many different types of families. I'm still learning my indoor potty manners, but I'm doing well with crate training and keep my crate nice and clean. I'm ready to leave my past behind and start my next chapter with a family who will love me forever.
