Meet Shyanne 💕 Shyanne is a tiny, sweet-natured Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is looking for a soft place to land after her world was turned upside down. At 13 years old, this gentle girl lost the only home she’s known because her beloved owner is moving into a nursing home and can no longer care for her. Shyanne weighs 16 pounds and is as sweet as they come. She enjoys spending time with people, gets along well with other dogs, and still has adorable little bursts of playful energy. She’s a smart girl who loves companionship and is happiest when she’s near her people. Shyanne is housetrained, though she currently needs frequent potty breaks every few hours to prevent accidents. She is not kennel trained and would do best in a home where someone is around often. She is diabetic and receives insulin twice daily, but her diabetes is currently well controlled and her care routine is straightforward. Shyanne is looking for a compassionate person willing to give a senior dog the comfort, stability, and love she deserves. In return, she’ll offer endless sweetness, quiet companionship, and a grateful heart.
