Story
Hi, My name is Benny...Ben...Ben...Benny, I'm as fast as a flying squirrel and I can fly (well jump) like one too!!! I also love to make a nest and curl up in your lap and take a nap. I also gather up toys and take them to my little tree. Foster momma says it is a kennel. So, I guess that means I am kennel trained, whatever that means. I go in there when it is time to eat or foster momma leaves. I am potty trained. I learned I needed to go outside and do my business from my foster siblings. I love my foster siblings. We play chase, we wrestle, and we take turns with toys. I like to take all of them out of the basket to find the perfect toy! I am also a little scavenger if there is paper, kleenex, or anything I can tear up, consider it done!!! I would love to have a family that is as active as I am. I am a busy body. Now, about my back story. I was found in a grocery store parking lot. The nice ladies tried to find my family, but were unable. They reached out to God's Dogs and asked them if I could join their family and here I am. That night I met my foster momma, grandmomma, and siblings. I DO NOT LIKE HATS!!! Foster momma had one on and I did not want to go anywhere near her. So, if you think you can handle a little squirrel, adopt me. I am your guy!!! Local adoption fee is $400 out of state adoption fee with transport and fuel surcharge is $650

Story
Jake is 7-1/2 years old, I got him from the Humane Society 4 years ago. When I got him I knew he came from a troubled home. I have been able to work with him, however he’s protective of me mostly and he doesn’t get a long with other people, he has his person and he doesn’t care for anyone else. I have a new baby in the house and having to always lock the dog away isn’t fair. I would rather to find a home for him as overall I think he’s a great companion dog. He’s still a bit jumpy to loud noises. He needs a home with someone that can give him all there time and doesn’t have a lot of people coming around.

Story
Please read this post in its entirety. Please acknowledge that you have done so. Your response and inquiry serve as your preliminary application. Please provide requested information. I cannot stress that enough. I need more than "I want a dog, live in a house, and will love him/her". Meet Morrie, also known as Buddy —a super senior weighing in at 9.5 pounds. The owner has recently passed away, and medical records can not be found. Morrie is a sweet boy who gets on well with his foster dog mates. Life has been a bit upside-down for him, and he has a bit of anxiety that we can attribute to losing all he has known for most of his life. His vitals appear good; he is alert, with a good appetite. He definitely enjoyed a much-needed grooming. Whatever family or friend the deceased had was unable or unwilling to care for him and called a local veterinarian for direction; otherwise, he was going to be sent sailing. This senior is seeking a soft landing with a family willing to love and provide for him for the rest of his days. There is no fee for sweet Morrie, but a donation is welcome. He has been wormed and given a 5-way vaccine. Will you be the family to spend Tuesday through Tuesday with Morrie? Tell us about you, your family, your activities, your property, the city you live in, other pets in your home, and whatever else puts you on top. The more information about you, the better. What can this companion expect from you, and what are your expectations of him/her? Additionally, we will not meet halfway. Please prepare to meet in person without hurry, and be willing to have a home evaluation and viewing of your social media. There is a fee for placement to offset medical and care. Age-appropriate placement is at the discretion of the guardian advocate. Please allow several or more days for a response, as I review inquiries. I appreciate your understanding. Raleigh's Rescue Advocacy. *DNA testing is not performed, and we can only give you an assumed breed or breed mix.

If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out the application at www.woodscreekrescue.com. Filling out the application is not a commitment to an adoption and needs to be done prior to any further questions you might have or information you are seeking. Our Process is the following: 1. Fill out an application 2. Once the application is approved, you will be called or emailed about setting up a day and time to meet me. 3. After a "Meet and Greet" then a decision for both the rescue and you will determine if this is a good match. After this is determined, we will schedule a home check which can be the day of adoption depending on how things go. Want to see more of me? Check us out on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok. We love having new followers.
