Story
Meet Freckles! Freckles is a 3-year-old, 14-pound bundle of sweetness who looks like she stepped straight out of a storybook. While we can't say for sure what breeds make up this adorable girl, we'd guess there's a little Papillon, maybe some Chihuahua, and a sprinkle of magic mixed in there somewhere. With her soft tan-and-white coat, warm amber eyes, and those absolutely stunning fluffy ears that seem to have a personality all their own, Freckles is impossible to overlook. And if you look closely, you'll see the adorable little freckles scattered across her legs that gave her the perfect name. Every inch of her is cute, from her wispy tail to her expressive face that always seems to be asking, "Can we cuddle now?" Watch Freckle's video here! https://youtu.be/4rq0kyW3sIc?si=MJwonSJ8aj0hlxuH Freckles is a gentle soul who appreciates the quieter things in life. She's not looking for nonstop adventures or chaos—she'd much rather spend her day curled up beside her favorite person, lounging on the couch, or enjoying a peaceful afternoon nap. She's affectionate without being demanding and has a calm, loving nature that makes her incredibly easy to be around. In her foster home, Freckles lives successfully with both dogs and cats and enjoys their company. She has a sweet, respectful demeanor and tends to approach life with kindness and patience. She's the kind of dog who brings a sense of calm wherever she goes. If you're looking for a loyal companion, a professional couch snuggler, and a dog whose ears deserve their own fan club, Freckles may be your perfect match. She's proof that sometimes the best things in life come with freckles. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
🤍🇵🇷 Meet Dasani, a “Sato dog” from Puerto Rico! A “Sato dog” refers to the mixed breed, stray dogs on the island. (Majority are small-medium size but some can be larger). Island dogs are smart, loyal, highly trainable, and thrive on routines and consistency. They have wonderful demeanors, make devoted companions, adjust well to their environments, and are a perfect mix of energetic and affectionate. There is no love like the love of an island dog. Dasani is a sweet, happy girl! She is adventurous, loves cuddles, and enjoys playtime. She will need continued work on puppy-training concepts including: Basic leash training, potty, crate, socialization, etc. She has been around other dogs and kids and does well. As she is young, we see no problems with continued interactions with kids- with slow/proper introduction. She has yet to be around cats. Please reach out for more details and information about Dasani! 🙂 🐾Searching for her family🐾 Rescue: Paradise Rescue 📍Fostered in: Oregon City, OR Name: Dasani Sex: Female Weight: 6lbs (As of 6/2026) Approx age: 3 months (DOB: 3/2026) Breed: “Sato” Dog (mixed)- unknown. *Possible papillon mix* Expected adult weight: 20-30lbs (likely to remain smaller) Health: Up to date on required vaccinations/preventatives, per age. Story
Andy is 13 years old. He doesn't have any health issues. We are watching him temporarily because his owner had to go into a memory care unit. He runs around for a while each day but loves to sleep a lot too, even in the day. He's a quiet little guy . He lived with his owners for the past 12 years. They were an older married couple and he led a pretty quiet life. He's friendly and has a few spurts of energy each day. If you are looking for a calm pet, this is your guy!
