✨Meet Chopstick!✨ Chopstick came to us as a transfer from ACCT after being surrendered to the only open intake shelter serving the entire city of Philadelphia. Due to lack of space and demand of dogs in need at the other shelter this sweet dog was at risk of euthanasia. They were transferred to our care to be given the chance to find their forever home! All of our animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccinations, and any other necessary medical care. After adoption, dogs need time to adjust to their new homes and thrive with families who can provide exercise, enrichment, positive reinforcement training, and socialization. She has lots of energy and would love an active home that will challenge her both physically and mentally. Ginger is very intelligent and enjoys staying busy, and regular walks are a great way to help her burn off some of that puppy energy! Ginger loves other dogs, but we feel she would do best with a dog who enjoys playing and can match her energy level. She loves to chase and be chased and is always ready for a good game! Ginger can be a bit of a toy thief and may try to sneak some of her furry friend's food, so her ideal canine companion should be happy to play and share. Being the smart girl she is her forever family must be committed to continue working on basic commands and keep her challenged so she doesn't get into trouble.
