✨Meet Chopstick!✨ Chopstick came to us as a transfer from ACCT after being surrendered to the only open intake shelter serving the entire city of Philadelphia. Due to lack of space and demand of dogs in need at the other shelter this sweet dog was at risk of euthanasia. They were transferred to our care to be given the chance to find their forever home! All of our animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccinations, and any other necessary medical care. After adoption, dogs need time to adjust to their new homes and thrive with families who can provide exercise, enrichment, positive reinforcement training, and socialization. This adoption is for a bonded pair that can’t be separated. Snoopy is a purebred Papillon, Princess is an American Eskimo. They are both adorable. They are both about 8 yrs and 20 pounds each. They have been together since they were a couple months old. Neither are potty trained very well, and we use pee pads. Snoopy doesn’t like being picked up, but he will hop into your lap. He will only eat if you are eating (or he is super hungry) Princess is a little… special. She has ADHD. So she needs food to be available 24/7. She will forget to eat. She is a fear biter, and a serial killer. Any animal that comes into our fenced backyard, she will murder: birds, baby bunnies, squirrels… I would NOT put her in a home with a cat. She is afraid of other dogs, and will bite. She also loves her humans. The reason I need to re-home them is because I have memory issues that have recently gotten worse, and I forget when I let them out and it has become an issue with their safety.
