Story
PWRESCUE.ORG *PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY* Meet Jilly — A Sweet, Shy Little Terrier With a Big Heart! MUST HAVES:  Secure fenced yard; another playful and confident dog in the home. Jilly is a 1-1/2 year-old, 22-lb terrier mix (most likely Parson Russell Terrier and Wire Haired Fox Terrier) who joined our rescue after her previous owner could no longer care for her. She’s still very much a puppy at heart—eager to please, gentle, and full of quiet sweetness. Because of her shyness, we are requiring another dog in the home to help build her confidence and show her the ropes!  Jilly will also need a secure, fenced yard. Jilly is naturally shy and timid, and she’s still building her confidence. With patient, positive socialization, she continues to make steady progress. She gets along well with other dogs, especially ones who share her softer, lower-key play style, and she truly enjoys the company of canine friends.   One of Jilly’s most endearing quirks? She’s a little collector! Shoes, small treasures, or anything that seems interesting may mysteriously make their way into her bed—so if something goes missing, that’s the first place to check. It’s all part of her curious, puppy-like charm. Jilly will thrive in a home that offers calm, patience, and gentle guidance and another well-balanced dog to help her continue blossoming. She loves to learn, stays curious, and is so ready for someone who can show her the world isn’t as scary as it seems. If you’re looking for a tenderhearted companion with an adorable personality and so much potential, Jilly just might be your perfect match. Jilly is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is $350.00.   If you are interested in this sweetheart, please visit our website at:  https://pwrescue.org and click on the "Adoption Application" button to complete an application.  Pathways Home Animal Rescue December 17, 2025, 11:48 am

Story
Coco is well trained she knows many tricks like sit, spin, bark, whisper, up, down. She is so sweet she likes to wear sweaters and long walks. She loves popcorn and candy occasionally. She loves when you sing to her. The reason we are unfortunately rehoming is because she has really bad anxiety. She is not good with kids, she can play near them but gets too scared to engage and play. Shes not good with dogs either. She use to but over the years I think her anxiety just got worse. If medicated she’d probably be ok with dogs. she would be great as an only dog no kids & needs a lot of love and care. We are not able to prioritize her and she’s not a good fit for our growing family with a baby and a 5yr old. We are devastated but it’s just not worth the risk of her hurting our kids due to anxiety and fear. We hope to find her a loving home that can fulfill her needs and give her all the love she deserves!
