There you have it! I was living alone in the pound and being a smart and sensitive Jack Russel boy and I was totally shut down.... I didn't want to trust anyone and the loud pound, filled with scared animals who are desperate to get out alive......... and I was one of them. So I was SO SO SO LUCKY, one of the rescue ladies happened to stop by to see ME!! She heard about my predicament being so scared and untrusting.... and she decided to give ME a chance!! NOW I am living the good "foster" life ;) I have lots of friends to hang with and other than the cats I am LOVING my "foster" life :) I am ready for my very own family, I am smart and sweet and may take a day or so to settle in but it will happen and then after that.... you will fall hard for my sweet and CUDDLY personality. ADOPT ME SOON!! I am ready for you! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Silly DAIZY is a fun and affectionate rat terrier-type mixed breed girl looking for a home. She is bouncy, and playful and loves getting attention from her people. She loves treats and cuddles when playtime is over. Daizy is about 2 years old and fully grown at just 22 pounds. If you'd like to meet Daizy, please fill out a dod adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Daizy at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. LORELAI GILMORE is a stunning scruffy young dog looking for a home. She is a timid girl, our best guess is a Jack Russell Terrier-type mix, about 11 months old and fully grown at 24 pounds. She's a beautiful girl who literally wears her heart on her hip. Lorelai loves her doggie friends. She's good with older, dog-savvy kids and kitties. She prefers women over men. Lorelai needs a home with a dog-experienced adopter who will take the time needed to earn her trust. She must have a confident, playful dog sibling and is best suited to a home with a physically-fenced yard. She's housebroken, crate trained and walks well on a leash.   Lorelai and her sister Rory were found dumped in the woods earlier this year. Both girls were adopted a few months ago but Lorelai Gilmore was recently returned due to a change in family circumstances. Lorelai prefers women and is best suited to a quiet home where there won't be lots of strangers coming and going. Tiny terrier type GERALDINE is a purebred lovebug. She absolutely loves lap time and cuddle time. And food. Geraldine appears to be a rat terrier/chihuahua-type mixed breed girl. She's 5-6 years old and fully grown at 11 pounds but could stand to gain a pound. Geraldine is such a gem, low/medium energy and good with everyone. She came to us from a rural shelter. In addition to the standard vet care we provide all of our dogs, Geraldine had a dental cleaning and a mammary tumor removed (PLEASE spay your female dogs to help prevent mammary tumors!). Geraldine's needs are pretty simple: love, a welcoming lap, food and more love. If you'd like to meet Geraldine, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org.
