Story
This is lamia, a nearly 1 year old, ~10lb terrier mix we adopted from a county shelter last year. unfortunately our circumstances have changed and it would be in her best interest to rehome or have someone long-term foster. Lamia is a very playful and motivated dog who loves people but has some trouble warming up. She is affectionate with people she trusts but is firm about her boundaries, she does not like being touched by strangers. She does enjoy interacting with dogs and had no issues living with our dogs or cat, however because of how she is with boundaries, I would not recommend having her live with young children. Lamia also has many quirky parts of her and has always made us laugh with her silly antics and expressions. She is medium energy, has been crate trained, potty trained and walks well on leash. Lamia would do best in a home with someone who has the time and is willing to be patient. as well as a home without small animals/rodents as she will chase.

Story
My dog is about 7 years old. She’s a rescue and was completely house trained when we found her. I was a single mom with 2 little girls and she has been such a good pet for our family. But now I’ve remarried and Maisie doesn’t like my husband’s dog (it’s female, she has gotten along with males though). She never bites her, merely pins her down, but the other dog is getting older. We just worry about her getting hurt accidentally. We love her though - she is great with kids and people.

She is 3 years old and 25 lbs, a wonderful size with an even bigger personality. She loves to play, does great with kids, and enjoys being part of everyday family life. She’s affectionate, well-mannered, and happiest when she’s near her people—whether that’s joining in on playtime or relaxing quietly by your side. With heavy hearts, we are looking for a new home for her due to our landlord not allowing dogs. This decision is not a reflection of her behavior, as she is truly a loving and well-behaved companion. We are hoping to find her a safe, loving home where she can continue to be cherished. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle dog to add to your family, she’s ready to meet you 🐾🤍
